SHEET CONVEYING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet conveying apparatus including: a pair of inlet rollers; a pair of outlet rollers; a pair of movable rollers disposed between the inlet rollers and the outlet rollers; a moving unit configured to move the movable rollers; a pair of upstream rollers disposed between the inlet rollers and the movable rollers; a pair of downstream rollers disposed between the movable rollers and the outlet rollers; a first conveyance belt passed over a first inlet roller, a first outlet roller, a first movable roller, a first upstream roller, and a first downstream roller; and a second conveyance belt passed over a second inlet roller, a second outlet roller, a second movable roller, a second upstream roller, and a second downstream roller. A diameter of the pair of upstream rollers and a diameter of the pair of downstream rollers are smaller than a diameter of the pair of movable rollers.
BANKNOTE DEPOSIT-WITHDRAWAL SYSTEM AND ARCHITECTURE
A banknote deposit-withdrawal system (300) for assisting in a financial transaction includes an opening (415) to receive banknotes in an orientation where the short edge of the banknotes is the leading-edge. A transportation mechanism (303) transports received banknotes to a separation area in the short edge leading-edge orientation. A separator mechanism (22014) separates banknotes from bulk in the separation area and transports banknotes serially to a sensing unit (1402) in a long edge leading-edge orientation. The sensing unit validates the authenticity of inserted banknotes in the long edge leading-edge orientation. After authentication, if rejected, banknotes are returned to the user in short edge leading-edge orientation. After authentication banknotes deemed genuine are sent to storage units (1406) in the long edge leading-edge orientation. The opening (415) is operated in a single banknote insertion mode, a bulk banknote insertion mode, a rejection of unacceptable banknote mode, and a banknote dispense mode.
Liquid discharge head, liquid discharge device, and liquid discharge apparatus
A sheet conveyor includes a conveyance belt configured to rotate to convey a sheet on which a liquid has been applied in a conveyance direction, and a guide configured to guide the sheet to the conveyance belt, a position of the guide being variable in the conveyance direction.
DRIVE APPARATUS AND AN IMAGING SYSTEM
A driving apparatus includes an endless belt, a belt roller which engages the endless belt, a steering member and an adjustment member. The belt roller has a rotation shaft. The steering member contacts the endless belt at the inner side of the endless belt. The adjustment member is supported rotatably. The adjustment member receives a force in response to the endless belt moving in a longitudinal direction of the rotation shaft of the belt roller, and generates a pressing force that tilts the steering member via a rotational movement of the adjustment member.
Bi-modal rollers
An apparatus includes a bi-modal roller configured to rotate about a longitudinal axis of the bi-modal roller. The bi-modal roller includes two ends and a rolling outer surface. The rolling outer surface is divided into a convex portion and concave portion. The concave portion includes at least one concave curve extending longitudinally between the two ends. The concave portion is configured to, when a film physically contacts the concave portion, affect translation of the film in response to a stick condition or a slip condition. The convex portion includes at least one convex curve extending longitudinally between the two ends. The convex portion is configured to, when the film physically contacts the convex portion, affect translation of the film in response to a stick condition or a slip condition.
Drive for belt
A belt driving device includes: an endless belt; a stretch roller to engage the endless belt, the stretch roller including a rotary shaft; a steering roller spaced apart from the stretch roller within the endless belt; an adjustment member located along the rotary shaft of the stretch roller, the adjustment member movable along the rotary shaft; and linking mechanism to couple the adjustment member to the steering roller, the linking mechanism to engage a contact surface of the adjustment member. The contact surface includes contact points positioned at different distances from the rotary shaft to raise the linking mechanism during movement of the adjustment member, to cause the steering roller to tilt at an angle, and to maintain an alignment of the endless belt.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes a first roller having a first portion between tapered portions, which are at each end of the first portion. An outer diameter of each tapered portion decreases with distance from the first portion along a width direction of the first roller. A second roller has a second portion facing the first portion of the first roller and third portions, which are at each end of the second portion. The third portions face the tapered portions of the first roller. A belt of the image forming apparatus has an inner surface contacting the first portion of the first roller and an outer surface forming a nip with the second portion of the second roller. The belt has a protruding portion on the inner surface at each end of the belt in the width direction. The protruding portions face the tapered portions of the first roller.
Suction conveyor device for transporting flat items, and system for producing flat items comprising said type of suction conveyor
A suction conveyor device comprising a suction arrangement having a suction side on which low pressure is generated, continuously rotating flexible conveying means made of flexible flat material having holes, an inner side enabling the conveying means to move along the suction side, and an outer side for receiving flat items in the active area of the suction side, where the conveying means moves in the transporting direction, the suction arrangement and the conveyor means designed with a transport path width in the active range perpendicular to the transporting direction. The conveying means includes continuously circulating individual, single-piece, flexible conveying means, both lateral edges thereof extending in the transporting direction at a distance from each other being at least the same as the total width of the transport path such that the individual, single-piece flexible conveyor means extend over the total width of the transport path.
MEDIUM PROCESSING DEVICE AND MEDIUM TRANSACTION DEVICE
A medium processing device includes: a drum that is rotatably supported, that rotates around a rotation axis, and that winds a medium around a peripheral side surface thereof; a first tape that winds the medium sandwiched between the peripheral side surface and the first tape, accompanying rotation of the drum; a movable guide that is movable following a drum diameter of the drum, which changes depending on a winding amount of the medium, and that guides the medium; and a first static electricity elimination section that is provided at the movable guide, that abuts the first tape, and that performs static electricity elimination of an electric charge of the charged first tape.
