A medium supplying device includes a housing part configured to house a rolled medium obtained by winding a sheet, a pair of rollers disposed at a predetermined interval in the housing part, and a supplying belt with an endless annular shape provided around the pair of rollers and configured to rotate along with rotation of the pair of rollers. An outer peripheral surface of the rolled medium is supported with the supplying belt, and the supplying belt is driven into rotation to rotate the rolled medium to supply the sheet.

The cross-fold module for a folding machine comprises a cross-fold knife which is movable in a reciprocating manner in a folding-knife movement direction, and a pair of folding rollers which form a folding roller gap in which a sheet that previously was fed in the feeding direction is creased for folding by the cross-fold knife. A delivery transport device for the folded product receives the folded product in a receiving portion close to an outlet of the folding roller gap and transports the folded product to a delivery portion. At least the cross-fold knife and the pair of folding rollers are adjustable horizontally, perpendicular to the folding-knife movement direction and perpendicular to the feeding direction.

An apparatus for diverting and/or folding articles includes an infeed conveyor, an outfeed conveyor, and a diverter. The diverter is a non-contact, fluid emitting diverter, configured to emit a fluid jet to exhibit the diverting force on the impact zone of the article at a side of the article facing away from the outfeed entry. An angle of the average direction of the diverting force of the fluid jet with the outfeed path at the outfeed entry is in the range of 5° to 85°.
Sheet processing apparatus and image forming system
A sheet processing apparatus includes a pair of belts, a water supplying unit, a curving unit and a controller. The pair of belts defines a conveying path for holding and conveying a paper sheet. The water supplying unit supplies water to outer surfaces of the belts. The curving unit curves the conveying path defined by the belts. The controller makes the water supplying unit supply water to the outer surfaces of the belts, and makes the belts convey the sheet between the belts in a state where the conveying path is curved by the curving unit to correct the curling of the sheet.

An object of the invention is to provide a banknote storing/feeding unit which is capable of effectively utilizing winding spaces of a drum and a reel, to increase the number of banknotes to be stored. The banknote storing/feeding unit includes the drum which winds and rewinds a banknote together with a tape, and the reel which winds and rewinds the tape on and from the drum. A guide body swinging according to winding and rewinding of the tape and the banknote on and from the drum is provided between the drum and the reel. The guide body has a guide passage that guides the tape and the banknote to be wound and rewound on the drum. The guide body swings centering on a supporting point located within a region parallel to a virtual line connecting a rotational center of the drum and a rotational center of the reel.

The method includes the: gripping the lowermost product of the stack, separating the lowermost product from the stack lower side and transporting the product away from the stack. A first process condition is detected within cycle-linked measuring time window and a second process condition is detected within at least one further cycle-linked measurement time window in the same work cycle, by way of a single sensor in combination with a control device.

The lower conveyor top is disposed adjacent to the upper conveyor bottom and defines with the upper conveyor bottom a transport path configured to transport a sheet of material in a direction from the first end of the layboy conveyor to the second end of the layboy conveyor. A drive is operably connected to the upper conveyor and to the lower conveyor, and the drive is configured to drive the upper conveyor bottom and the lower conveyor top in the direction. A length of the lower conveyor top is adjustable.

The upper conveyor (36) of the transfer module extends further in the direction of transportation than the lower conveyor (38) and the lower conveyor comprises a first conveyor belt (38a) and second conveyor belt (38b), each having an inlet end (67a, 67b) and an outlet end (65a, 65b), and wherein the outlet ends are displaceable in the direction of transportation.
