Sheet storage apparatus
To reduce, at the time of sheet replenishment, breakage of a floating regulation member that regulates floating of a sheet floated by air blowing in a sheet storage apparatus that loosen stored sheets by means of air blowing. Air is blown to sheets stored in a storage part to loosen the sheets. One of a pair of side regulation members for regulating both ends of the sheets stored in the storage part has a floating regulation member for regulating floating of a sheet floated by means of air blowing. The floating regulation member is configured to be turnable in a sheet stacking direction about a rotation axis provided to one of the side regulation members on the side at which the floating regulation member is provided. A load applied to the floating regulation member differs between when the floating regulation member is turned upward and when it is turned downward.
Medium transporting apparatus, medium processing apparatus, and recording system
A medium transporting apparatus includes a first tray on which a medium discharged with a pair of discharge rollers that discharges a medium is mounted, a guide member that contacts the medium, which is discharge with the pair of discharge rollers, from above, and that guides the medium to the first tray, and a width direction matching member that matches an end portion of the medium, which has been discharged on the first tray, in the width direction that intersects a discharge direction of the medium. The guide member and the width direction matching member move in the width direction in an interlocked manner.

Medium transporting apparatus, medium processing apparatus, and recording system
A medium transporting apparatus including a paddle that comes in contact with a medium discharged on a first tray including an upstream end matching member and that rotates to move the medium towards the upstream end matching member, and a low frictional resistance member configured to switch between an advanced state advanced from outside a medium mount region of the first tray to a first region, and a retracted state retracting from the first region to an outside of the medium mount region. The low frictional resistance member is, after a first medium is mounted on the first tray, switched from the retracted state to the advanced state, and is interposed between the first medium and a second medium when, after discharging the first medium, moving the second medium discharged from a pair of discharge rollers towards the upstream end matching member with the paddle.
HANDLING DEVICE FOR A FLAT PIECE
The invention relates to a handling device for presenting a flat piece to at least a first and a second treatment device in particular for presenting a plastic card substrate to a printer device and a flipping device. The handling device comprises an elongated backbone element; wherein the backbone element is rotatable along a longitudinal axis and has at least a first and a second angular position; a holding element configured to hold the flat piece relative to the backbone element; and a control unit, configured to control the angular position of the backbone element; wherein, when the backbone element is at the first angular position, the flat piece is at a first treatment position for the first treatment device, and when the backbone element is at the second angular position, the flat piece is at a second treatment position for the second treatment device.
Sheet conveying device and image forming system therewith
A sheet conveying device includes a sheet conveying passage, an upper conveying guide provided in the sheet conveying passage and facing the upper surface of a sheet, a lower conveying guide facing the lower surface of the sheet, a conveying member conveying the sheet along the sheet conveying passage, a sheet stack tray arranged above the upper conveying guide. The upper conveying guide is swingable up and down, with one end part of it in the sheet conveying direction or in the sheet width direction perpendicular to the sheet conveying direction serving as a pivot shaft. The sheet stack tray has a movable part making contact with the upper conveying guide at least when it swings, and the movable part is movable between a sheet receiving position where it forms a sheet stack surface and a retracted position where it has swung upward from the sheet receiving position.
SHEET CONVEYANCE APPARATUS, SHEET SUPPORT APPARATUS, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
The sheet conveyance apparatus includes an apparatus body including a conveyance portion, and a door portion pivotally supported around a pivot axis disposed in a lower portion of the apparatus body. The apparatus body includes a holding member including a first holding portion used to lift the apparatus body, and the holding member is disposed inside a width of the door portion in an axis direction of the pivot axis. The holding member includes a first engaging portion and a second engaging portion disposed on the pivot axis. The door portion includes a first engaged portion configured to engage with the first engaging portion, and a second engaged portion configured to engage with the second engaging portion. The door portion is pivotably supported around the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion with respect to the holding member.
BANKNOTE RECYCLER
A generally vertical banknote recycling bay arrangement comprising a generally vertically oriented banknote recycling bay for receiving banknotes therein, the recycling bay having an upper end and a lower end. The arrangement further comprising a banknote feeding assembly for feeding banknotes, one at a time, into the recycling bay, the feeding assembly being positioned near the upper end of the recycling bay. The arrangement further comprising a banknote dispensing assembly for feeding banknotes, one at a time, out of the recycling bay, the dispensing assembly being positioned near the upper end of the recycling bay. The arrangement further comprising a pair of stacker wheels supported for rotational movement about a driven stacker wheel shaft, each stacker wheel being laterally moveable along the driven stacker wheel shaft and a stacker wheel positioning mechanism configured to adjust the lateral positions of the pair of stacker wheels along the stripper wheel shaft. During operation in which banknotes are to be fed into the recycling bay, the lateral position of the stacker wheels is adjusted by the stacker wheel positioning mechanism to an inward position such that banknotes to be fed into the recycling bay are received by the stacker wheels and stacked in the recycling bay. During operation in which banknotes are to be fed out of the recycling bay, the lateral position of the stacker wheels is adjusted by the stacker wheel positioning mechanism to an outward position such that banknotes to be fed out the recycling bay are not engaged by the stacker wheels but instead are engaged by the banknote dispensing assembly which sequentially engages the topmost banknote stacked in the recycling bay and feeds banknotes out of the recycling bay, one bill at a time.
