A device for automatic touch-free dispensing of disposable material onto a hand of an individual is provided. The device comprises a first spool configured to hold backing members having disposable material disposed thereon. The first spool engages with a first gear connected to a motor responsible for rotating the first spool to deliver the disposable material into the middle of an access window of the device. Preferably, the device is enclosed within a housing assembly.

An apparatus for holding label stock includes a body including a base and a roll holding area with a roll holding support extending from the base for receiving a roll of label stock. A plurality of rollers are located along a label stock feed path from the roll holding area to a label stock exit zone of the body. The plurality of rollers include a tensioning roller that is movable relative to the base to dissipate tension loads on label stock during label stock movement.

A device for winding up a film at a packaging machine, the device including a reception mandrel drivable for rotation about a rotation axis and a reception sleeve for the film for being pushed onto the reception mandrel. The reception sleeve may be formed by segments arranged next to each other along a circumference or perimeter of the reception sleeve, wherein neighboring or adjacent segments may be pivotably connected to each other. The reception mandrel may be formed as rigid body having engagement structures that are configured to cooperate with shape features of an inner circumference or perimeter of the reception sleeve, when the reception sleeve has been pushed onto the reception mandrel, so that a rotation of the reception mandrel about the rotation axis causes the reception sleeve to rotate with the reception mandrel.

The kit may include a cartridge and a dispenser for automatic touch-free dispensing of disposable stethoscope covers. The kit further includes a first spool having a roll of backing member with disposable stethoscope covers disposed thereon and a second spool for receiving the spent backing member after a disposable stethoscope cover has been removed, self-contained within the cartridge. The cartridge is inserted within the dispenser so that a user may insert a stethoscope head through a window of the dispenser to attach to a disposable stethoscope cover. Alternatively, the cartridge or cassette may be comprised of disposable instrument covers so that a user may insert the instrument near or through the window of the dispenser for application of the instrument cover directly to the instrument. This compact binding device is such that binding operations can be carried out when the main body of the device is held. The binding device (1A) is provided with a cassette storage unit (60A) in which a cassette (8) can be detachably attached, said cassette housing an elongate tape (5) which has a piece (2) adhered thereto and is wound into a roll. A dunnage production system for producing coiled strips of dunnage includes a supply of strip-like dunnage, a coiler adjacent the supply and rotatable about a coiling axis for coiling a strip of the strip-like dunnage into a coil having a coiled configuration, and a tube aligned with the coiling axis. The tube has an internal diameter sized to receive the coil from the coiler in a discharge direction parallel to the coiling axis. The tube is capable of holding at least one coil in its coiled configuration until it is removed from the tube.
