Device and method for extraction
An extraction device and method (1) for moving, from a pile (3), a batch (4) of stacked flat products (2) that are not connected to one another and that form the top of the pile (3), with the extraction device (1) including a frame (5), and, mounted in the frame (5), a gripping element (6) in the form of a controlled vise for firmly grasping section by section the batch (4) to be extracted. This device also includes, mounted in the frame (5), a separation element (8), separated from the gripping element (6), carrying a support surface (9) to come under the batch (4).
FILM FREE END CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR A STRETCH WRAPPING MACHINE
An apparatus and method for stretch wrapping of a palletized load uses film tension feedback derived from a film tension control load cell to control film dispensation. The load cell measures film tension and the film payout rates is determined by the film tension. Film tension values are used to determine when an out of bounds condition occurs, namely, when a film break has occurred, or when a possible film break is about to occur or when the film has been cut at the end of a wrapping cycle. To prevent film free end entanglement caused by a break, clamps engage the film so the film tail is controlled, eliminating the risk of recoil. The broken film tail may then be quickly and reliably reattached to the rotating load in a desired position.
Winder and a turret unit
Winder for an endless lane of a plastic web (2), with a revolving unit (6, 6, 55, 90), which is constructed so as to be rotatable about its axis (16) and has at least two winding shafts (10 to 12, 10 to 12) running parallel to its axis, onto which winding cores (17) can be loaded, then wound with the web (2) to a roll (18), finally unloaded therefrom again as finished rolls (18), wherein on both sides of the revolving unit (6, 6, 50, 90) support arrangements are arranged, in which the winding shafts (10 to 12, 10 to 12) are supported at their corresponding ends therein, and wherein the support for one end of the winding shafts (10 to 12, 10 to 12) is constructed so as to be detachable, such that the respective winding shaft (10 to 12, 10 to 12), with released support, can be loaded and unloaded from this end, characterized in that the detachably constructed support arrangements each have a gripper arrangement (36 to 38) with a two-armed scissor unit (39 to 41), the scissor arms (42, 43) of which surround the winding shaft (10 to 12, 10 to 12) in the closed position and are pivoted away therefrom in the open position.
Methods and systems for improved mask processing
In some embodiments, methods and systems are provided for improved handling of lithography masks including loading a mask via a first load port from a first carrier; inverting the mask using a first contact pad; cleaning the mask; inverting the mask using a second contact pad; and unloading the mask via a second load port into a second carrier. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Apparatus and method for mechanically gripping and transporting webs of material
Individual fibers of a material layer are pinched within adjacent coils of a spring in the present invention by a spring-like surface carried by a moving object such as a conveyor belt, rotating drum or rotating puck. The spring coils are slightly opened to accept the individual fibers. Next the spring coils are closed to carry and transport the web of fibers. At a deposition point, the coil springs, carried by a moving object such as a conveyor belt, rotating drum or rotating puck, are opened slightly, releasing fibers and depositing the web at a desired location.
Medium bundle storage device and medium processing device
A reject storage box is provided with a sufficiently thick cover body above a second storage space that stores banknote bundles W that a user has forgotten to take, and a guide space is provided penetrating the cover body in an oblique direction. In the reject storage box, when a banknote bundle falls into an intake hole from above, a lower face of the banknote bundle immediately contacts a position toward the top of a main guide face, and the banknote bundle W travels downward through the guide space with the lower face of the banknote bundle W sliding against the main guide face. The reject storage box thereby enables the banknote bundle dropping downward through the guide space to be maintained in a substantially uniform orientation, and ultimately enables the banknote bundle to be stacked neatly inside the second storage space.
Robotic Manipulation Using Reusable, Independent Tags
A system for robotic manipulation of objects having various shapes and sizes. The system includes a robot having an end effector, and an independent tag. The independent tag may have an object attachment interface to grasp an object, and an end effector attachment interface to mechanically interface with the end effector. Upon actuation of the robot, the end effector may move the object via the independent tag. A corresponding method is also disclosed and claimed herein.

SEPARATOR SUPPLY DEVICE AND SEPARATOR SUPPLY METHOD
A separator supply device is provided. The separator supply device includes a frame, a separator supply portion mounted on the frame, and including a first reel mounting portion configured to accommodate a first reel configured to be wound with a first separator, and a second reel mounting portion configured to accommodate a second reel, spaced apart from the first reel, and configured to be wound with a second separator, and a separator connection portion configured to adsorb an end of the first separator unwound from the first reel and an end of the second separator unwound from the second reel and to connect the first separator to the second separator.
WINDING NEEDLE ASSEMBLY AND WINDING DEVICE
Embodiments of the present application provide a needle winding assembly for winding electrode plates and a separator and a winding device. The winding needle assembly includes a first winding needle and a second winding needle for clamping the separator, and the second winding needle is provided with a rolling member on a side of the second winding needle toward the first winding needle. Due to the presence of the rolling member, there is rolling friction between the rolling member and the first winding needle, reducing the friction between the first winding needle and the second winding needle, which avoids scratching the separator when the winding needle assembly is inserted into the separator or pulled out of the separator, or avoids misplacing and bringing out part of the separator when the second winding needle is pulled out, which otherwise would reduce the production efficiency of the battery.
