Sheet processing apparatus and image forming system
A sheet processing apparatus includes a pair of belts, a water supplying unit, a curving unit and a controller. The pair of belts defines a conveying path for holding and conveying a paper sheet. The water supplying unit supplies water to outer surfaces of the belts. The curving unit curves the conveying path defined by the belts. The controller makes the water supplying unit supply water to the outer surfaces of the belts, and makes the belts convey the sheet between the belts in a state where the conveying path is curved by the curving unit to correct the curling of the sheet.

Apparatus for deployment, recovery and/or storage of a resource comprising a flexible length of equipment capable of being wound on a spool, the apparatus comprising a rigid container shaped and configured to be handled by a specified vehicle type, the container having at least a base and a pair of opposing end walls, and an open side or an opening in a side wall thereof, wherein, on said base between said opposing end walls, there is provided a mounting member on which said spool is or can be mounted for rotation about its longitudinal axis. In an exemplary embodiment, the external dimensions of said container conform to the ISO 668 International Standard, and the equipment comprises a surface-covering track comprised of interconnected panels.
CORELESS PAPER ROLL MANUFACTURING METHOD
A manufacturing method includes: a first step for winding up paper to form paper roll; a second step for inserting an insertion section, which ejects an adhesive, into a center hole of the paper roll; a third step for causing the adhesive to adhere to a predetermined position of the center hole; and a fourth step for performing a heating and drying process on an area to which the adhesive is adhered to harden opposite ends of the center hole. The third step includes causing the adhesive to adhere to near opposite extending ends of the center hole. The adhesive has adhesive strength to an extent that the paper wound up into the roll shape is peelable when the paper roll is to be used. The fourth step includes drying the adhesive adhered to the center hole before the adhesive spreads from the predetermined position of the center hole.
MEDIUM PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM INCORPORATING SAME
A medium processing apparatus includes a liquid applier and a post-processing device. The liquid applier includes a liquid application member including a foam containable a liquid to apply the liquid to a liquid application region in a part of at least one medium of a bundle of media. The post-processing device performs a given process on a post-processing region in the part of at least one medium having the liquid application region on which the liquid is applied by the liquid applier. The liquid applier applies the liquid to the liquid application region overlapped with at least a part of the post-processing region.
Sheet feeder, image forming apparatus incorporating the sheet feeder, and method of removing discharge products in the image forming apparatus
A sheet feeder, which is incorporated in an image forming apparatus, includes an attraction body disposed facing a bundle of sheets, a charger to charge the attraction body to electrostatically attract an uppermost sheet of the bundle of sheets to the attraction body, a liquid supplier to supply a liquid to dissolve discharge products to the attraction body, and a liquid remover to remove the liquid from the attraction body. Further, a method of removing discharge products includes counting the number of sheets fed from a sheet container, determining that the number of sheets reaches a predetermined threshold value, confirming that a current time falls within a predetermined period of time or receiving a turn off signal to turn off a power supply, removing the discharge products from a surface of an attraction body, and resetting the number of sheets or further turning off the power supply.
