The laminator includes a substrate supply part for supplying a substrate on which a metal pattern is formed; a coverlay supply part for supplying a film to which a plurality of coverlays is attached; a heating roller part for bonding the substrate and the film so that the plurality of coverlays respectively covers the metal pattern; a substrate tension adjustment part and a film tension adjustment part; a bonding state image photographing part for measuring an interval between the plurality of coverlays after the substrate and the film are bonded; and an adjustment part for adjusting the substrate tension adjustment part or the film tension adjustment part so that the interval between the plurality of coverlays measured by the bonding state image photographing part maintains a preset allowable interval.

Isolated film tension and steering system

A film tensioning and steering system can be configured to extract a film from a film source. One or more film characteristics can require that the film tensioning and steering system be isolated from the film source so that a film tension can be maintained within the film tensioning and steering system. A first drive roller pair and a second drive roller pair can be configured to secure the film and enable a dampening roller to maintain the film tension between the first drive roller pair and the second drive roller pair. Additionally, the dampening roller can store an amount of the film as a film buffer. Accordingly, the film tensioning and steering system can maintain the film tension such that a steering system can align the film before the first drive roller pair provides the film at a proper alignment to a downstream system.

The sheet stock drawn about the movable dancer may be a slit-sheet stock having a plurality of slits configured to expand under tension applied in a feed direction. The controller may be configured to control expansion of the slit-sheet stock upstream of the coiler allowing conversion of the sheet stock into a coil of relatively less dense dunnage prior to or during winding.

A pinion gear is coaxially attached to vicinity of an end of an inner bar. The pinion gear is engaged with a rack gear and rotates in response to upward and downward movements of the tension bar. When the pinion rotates, the inner bar correspondingly rotates. The inner bar and an outer bar, which is a tension applying bar, are connected to each other so as to freely rotate. When the pinion rotates, the inner bar correspondingly rotates, while the outer bar remains unrotated.

A glass film transfer apparatus includes a wind-off section that winds off the glass film from a roll around which the glass film is wound, a long interleaf being laminated on the glass film; a glass film transfer section that transfers the glass film which is wound off from the wind-off section and is separated from the interleaf; a take-up section that takes up the glass film transferred by the glass film transfer section in the form of roll, while laminating the long interleaf on the glass film; and an interleaf transfer section that carries out the interleaf separated from the glass film which is wound off from the wind-off section, and carries in the interleaf toward the take-up section.
