A sheet conveyer having a sheet tray, a tray-driving mechanism, a conveyance guide, a feed roller, a separator, a conveyer, a conveyer-driving mechanism, a controller, and a sheet sensor to detect sheets on the sheet tray, is provided. The conveyer-driving mechanism includes a transmission-active portion and a transmission-passive portion. A conveying velocity to convey the sheets by the conveyer is higher than a conveying velocity to convey the sheets by the feed roller and the separator. The transmission-active portion and the transmission-passive portion are rotatable about a transmission axis. The transmission-passive portion rotates passively by being pushed by the transmission-active portion. After the sheet sensor detects absence of the sheets, and before the transmission-passive portion starts rotating passively, the controller conducts a specific action to move the sheet tray downward by controlling the tray-driving mechanism.

A double storing and issuing device for two banknotes denomination and/or other flexible documents, for use in an equipment for the automatic processing of banknotes, where each storing and issuing device includes a storage roller, relative motor, at least a transport tape provided for wrapping on the storage roller together with the banknotes. The two storage rollers can share the space between them because the transport tape, tensioned by storage roller motor and feeding-roller, pushing against accompanying rollers strictly follows storage roller diameter. The double storing and issuing device includes an electronic unit for the storage roller motors and relative transport tapes revolution sensors, that provides a device full status as any possible combination of storage roller diameter plus a minimum gap to avoid mechanical reciprocal interferences.
Center Drive Unwind System
A method for unwinding includes loading a first reel of web material into a first unwind position where the web is unwound. A splicing unit is then moved in the machine direction toward the first unwind position until there is sufficient space to allow a further reel to be loaded into a second unwind position where the web from the second reel is unwound once loaded. Then, the web from the first reel is spliced to the second reel, and the web of the first reel is thereafter cut. The process continues in the opposite direction after removing the first reel from the first unwind position. The web of the second reel is unwound in the second position, the splicing unit is moved toward the second unwind position until there is sufficient space to allow a further reel to be loaded into the first unwind position.
