Sheet stacking apparatus and image forming system
To provide a sheet stacking apparatus and image forming system capable of improving alignment characteristics also in the case where an aligning section is not able to act on a sheet discharged onto a stacking tray, the sheet stacking apparatus and image forming system include a stacking tray stacking discharged sheets, a pair of aligning sections capable of shifting in a width direction to align the width direction crossing a direction in which the sheet to stack on the stacking tray is discharged, and a control section that controls a relative position of the aligning sections and the sheet to discharge so that one of the pair of the aligning sections regulates a shift of the sheet stacked on the stacking tray to one direction side in the width direction, when a sheet with a predetermined width in the width direction of the sheet is discharged to the stacking tray.
Image processing apparatus
In accordance with an embodiment, an image processing apparatus comprises a first opening and closing member, a second opening and closing member, a first tooth section, a second tooth section, and an intermediary tooth section. The first opening and closing member is opened and closed with respect to an apparatus main body with a first hinge as the center. The second opening and closing member is opened and closed with a second hinge arranged in the first opening and closing member as the center. The first tooth section comprises a plurality of teeth fixed coaxially with the first hinge. The second tooth section comprises a plurality of teeth supported coaxially with the second hinge. The intermediary tooth section is engaged with the first tooth section and the second tooth section between the first tooth section and the second tooth section.

Sheet supporting apparatus and image forming apparatus
A sheet supporting apparatus includes a sheet supporting portion, a regulation member, a flag portion, a detection portion, and a holding portion con. At the holding position, the holding portion supports the flag portion at the upper position in a case where the sheet supporting portion is positioned at the first position, and, at the allowing position, the holding portion allows movement of the flag portion to the lower position in a case where the sheet supporting portion is positioned at the second position. A lower end of the flag portion is positioned above the regulation surface in a case where the flag portion is positioned at the upper position, and is positioned below the regulation surface in a case where the flag portion is positioned at the lower position.
Sheet feeding apparatus including sheet storage unit which can be pushed into or pulled out of apparatus body, and image forming apparatus
The sheet feeding apparatus includes a first cursor. The first cursor comes in contact with a side face of a stack of sheets, and can move between a restriction position and a retracted position. The lift plate includes a fixed plate and a movable plate. The stack of sheets is movable together with the movable plate in the push-in/pull-out direction. When the sheet storage unit is pushed into the apparatus body, the first cursor moves by inertia of the stack of sheets, against an urging force of an urging member, toward the retracted position. After the sheet storage unit has reached the accommodated position, the first cursor pushes the stack of sheets by resilience of the urging member to move to the restriction position.

Stacker device for flat items
A stacker device in an items processing system is a last station of a mail line. The stacker device has a receiving plate to receive flat items, a longitudinal alignment wall, graduated in at least two steps, at a rear side of the stacker device, and a stop wall that is arranged at the downstream end of the receiving plate.
