A sealing tape roll comprises a sealing tape of flexible, compressible foam with at least one interior barrier layer. The sealing tape is wound up into the sealing tape roll in such a way that a top surface of one turn rests against a bottom surface of an adjacent turn of the sealing tape roll, and side surfaces of the sealing tape form end surfaces of the sealing tape roll. The sealing tape comprises a plurality of foam plies, which are arranged one above the other in a thickness direction between the bottom and top surfaces of the sealing tape. A barrier layer is between each pair of adjacent foam plies. The at least one barrier layer extends over at least 50% of the width of the sealing tape roll between the opposite end surfaces of the sealing tape roll and in a longitudinal direction of the sealing tape.

Converting a master roll of sheet material to the roll of sheet material and winding a first roll of sheet material onto a spindle at a winding position. Tabbing the free end of the roll of sheet material at a tabbing position. Where a tabber carrying a joiner are both in an initial position away from the first roll of sheet material, moving the tabber to a second position adjacent the roll of sheet material, moving the joiner into an engagement position where the joiner is engaged with the free end of the roll of sheet material. The joiner creates a tab with a combination of mechanical entanglement and heat welding. Returning the tabber and joiner to the initial positions. Doffing the tabbed roll of sheet material. The invention provides a heat-shrinkable polyester film roll containing a paper tube and a heat-shrinkable polyester film wound around the paper tube to form the heat-shrinkable polyester film roll, wherein (1) the film winding length is 2000-20000 m, (2) the film width is 400-2500 mm, (3) the film thickness is 5-30 μm, (4) unevenness in thickness in the film widthwise direction in a film roll surface layer part is 12% or less, (5) the paper tube has an inner diameter of 3 inches, a difference in clearance of the paper tube in a widthwise direction after removal of the film from the film roll is 0.5 mm or less, and a flat compressive strength of the paper tube after removal of the film is 1700 N/100 mm or more, and (6) the average value of winding hardness in the widthwise direction in the film roll surface layer part is 500-850.

A cover member of the present invention is a cover member to be placed on a face of an object to prevent passage of a foreign matter through an opening of the face, the cover member including: a protective membrane having a shape configured to cover the opening when the cover member is placed on the face; and a first substrate layer joined to one of principal surfaces of the protective membrane. The first substrate layer has a laminated structure including at least two substrate films, and is positioned between the protective membrane and the face when the cover member is placed on the face. The at least two substrate films include a non-foam film and a foam film. The cover member of the present invention is suitable for improving the peelability from a member supply sheet.

A method for supporting a pipeline storage reel (102) on a vessel (104) using the reel support apparatus (100) is also disclosed. The reel support apparatus (100) comprises a hub body (112) for locating within a hollow central bore (140) of a pipeline storage reel (102) and a plurality of discrete roller elements (114), spaced apart at locations on an outer surface of the hub body (112). In use, a pipeline storage reel (102) is supported by the plurality of discrete and spaced apart roller elements (114).

An umbrella having a pet waste bag dispenser is provided. The umbrella includes a canopy mounted to a post, a handle at a lower end of the post. The handle has a first end attached to the post and a second end having a cap member which is a removably attachable on an open bottom of the second end. An anti-misuse system for a sheet dispenser having a roll of sheet material and a housing to receive the roll. The anti-misuse system includes an end portion of a roll incorporating a first projection and a corresponding end wall portion of the housing comprising a retracting portion incorporating an interacting mechanism. The retracting portion is movable between a deployed position in which the interacting mechanism affects the functionality of the sheet dispenser and a retracted position in which the interacting mechanism enables the sheet dispenser to be functional. The retracting portion further incorporates an abutment drivable by the projection upon insertion of the roll into the housing to move the retracting portion into the retracted position.

A feed tray includes a first accommodation part in which a roll body having a configuration where a first sheet-shaped medium is rolled in a roll shape is accommodated, a conveyance guide configured to define a conveyance path for a roll medium which is the first sheet-shaped medium unrolled from the roll body accommodated in the first accommodation part, and a shutter movable between an intercept position where the shutter is located in the conveyance path and a retreat position where the shutter is further from the conveyance path than the intercept position.

The movement mechanism moves to a first position where the feed roller contacts the first sheet-shaped medium unrolled from the roll body accommodated in the first accommodation portion and a second position where the feed roller contacts the second sheet-shaped medium accommodated in the second accommodation portion.
