The invention is directed to an organizing device for cables comprising a spool, wherein the spool comprises: a barrel; an upper flange affixed to a first side of the barrel; and a lower flange affixed to a second side of the barrel, wherein the barrel is elliptical and wherein the upper flange and the lower flange each extend outwardly beyond the barrel.

Package of flat material and method of making a package of flat material
09738477 · 2017-08-22 · ·

A package of flat material in a flat profile and a method for making the package. Flat material is wound around a core having hollow channels that are coupled by engagement with extruding pins from a member. The member is mounted on an axis that rotates, causing the member to rotate. The rotation winds the flat material onto the core. The final package of flat material has a flat profile, which may be a convenient shape for storage in small and confined places.

Devices for cable management

The present disclosure describes a cable reel. The cable reel may include a hollow core having a width; a first wall coupled to an end of the core and extending radially outward a distance from the core, the first wall comprising an opening aligned with the hollow core and at least one support member extending across the opening; and a second wall coupled to an opposing end of the core and extending radially outwardly a distance from the core, the second wall comprising an opening aligned with the hollow core; wherein the first wall and the second wall form a gap therebetween equal to the width of the core, the gap being configured to hold a length of excess cable wrapped around the core. Cable reel covers are also described.

Separator core and separator roll

A core (u1, u2) around which a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery separator is to be wound. A side surface of the core (u1, u2) has a depression (20). This makes it possible, in a case where cores (separator cores) are stored by being stacked while still wet after cleaning, to prevent damage to a core caused by a problem where cores stick together and an core lower in a stack falls when a core higher in the stack is removed.

Rebar tie wire reels for reinforcing bar binding machinery
20200165829 · 2020-05-28 ·

A rebar tie wire reel (110) for a reinforcing bar binding machine has a first flange (118), a second flange (120) spaced from the first flange, a hub connecting the first and second flanges and a wire (124) wound around the hub. The first flange (118) has an outwardly facing major face (134) and an outer periphery. The outer periphery is defined by a plurality of edges (170, 172, 174, 176). The plurality edges include a first edge (170) and a second edge (172) that are configured such that, in use, an amount of rotation of the rebar tie wire reel can be determined using signals provided by a movable element of a contact sensor when during rotation of the wire reel, the first edge, major face and the second edge successively travel past the movable element.
