A sheet handling apparatus configured to feed sheets from outside into the sheet handling apparatus, transport the fed sheets in a storage area which is outside of a storage bag in the sheet handling apparatus and store the transported sheets in the storage bag includes: a holder configured to be capable of detachably holding the storage bag; a pushing member configured to push a plurality of sheets transported in the storage area into the storage bag through the opening of the storage bag; and a pressing member configured to press the sheets stored in the storage bag held by the holder.

A pusher plate stacking bin apparatus is provided for a valuable media depository. The apparatus comprising a pusher plate driven by a rack and pinion apparatus to stack a media item that is in a final position within the apparatus onto a media stacking platform. The media item is urged into the final position such that a trailing edge of the media item overhangs and rests on a fixed media guide and such that a leading edge of the media item overhangs and rests on a hinged media guide with a bottom surface of the media item elevated above the media stacking platform. The rack and pinion apparatus drives the plate past the media guides causing the hinged media guide to drop and the media item to fold along the leading edge as the media item is stacked onto the platform.

A pusher plate stacking bin apparatus is provided for a valuable media depository. The apparatus comprising a pusher plate driven by a rack and pinion apparatus to stack a media item that is in a final position within the apparatus onto a media stacking platform. To prevent erroneous transfer onto a paper sheet loading platform and improve the operation stability over the entire length of a long-edge direction of a pressing member by ensuring a long time during which the pressing member continues to push in a paper sheet alone. To include two rotating bodies 120 and 130 that have recesses 120a and 130a and are rotatable in opposite directions to each other in synchronization with each other, a pressing member 140 that is movable and presses an intermediate portion of a back of a paper sheet forward, a drive mechanism 180, and a paper sheet loading platform 200. The drive mechanism rotates each rotating body by an angle from 195 degrees to 270 degrees in a time period after the pressing member starts to bring a center of the paper sheet into contact with the paper sheet loading platform from an initial state until the pressing member leaves the center of the paper sheet.

The printed document may be engaged with an arm mechanism of the dispensing device, the printed document may be urged towards a slot of the dispensing device with the arm mechanism, and the printed document may be dispensed out of the slot with the arm mechanism.

The present disclosure provides a sheet storage apparatus and a sheet processing apparatus capable of effectively reducing tension applied to the entrance portion of a storage bag that stores sheets at the time of sealing the storage bag. The sheet storage apparatus according to the present disclosure includes a sealing unit that seals a predetermined portion of the storage bag storing sheets and a tension reducing unit that reduces the tension applied to the predetermined portion.

The sheet storage apparatus of the present disclosure includes an attachment unit to which a storing bag for sheets is attached; a holding unit that holds the sheets toward an inner side in a storage direction of the storing bag attached to the attachment unit, the sheets being stacked and stored in the storing bag; and a closing unit that closes an entrance of the storing bag by sandwiching the storing bag from outside thereof. The closing unit closes the entrance by moving from a first position to a second position, the first position being a position before the closing unit starts sandwiching the storing bag, the second position being a position when the closing unit sandwiches the storing bag. The closing unit passes through the inner side in the storage direction than the first position between moving from the first position to the second position.
