TRANSPORT UNIT WITH NEGATIVE PRESSURE DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING TRAYS
A transport unit that comprises a de-stacking device which is configured to drop trays from a stack of trays individually or in groups into a drop area, and a transport belt unit with a transport surface passing through the drop area for receiving and transporting away the dropped trays. The transport surface may comprise at least one opening. A negative pressure device may be provided to generate a suction force in the drop area through one or more of the openings of the transport surface, wherein the suction force sucks the dropped trays in the drop area in a direction towards the transport surface. This configuration reduces the rebound of the trays when they impact the transport surface as they are dropped. The invention also relates to a corresponding method for transporting trays.
Method and apparatus for holding down a sheet on a feed table of a sheet-processing machine
A method and an apparatus for holding down a sheet on a feed table of a sheet-processing machine include a lowerable smoothing bar which can be driven according to a speed profile in time with the sheet-processing machine, which results in a targeted deflection of the smoothing bar. The deflection is preserved for the purpose of smoothing the sheet from the middle to the side.
Sheet transport device and non-transitory computer readable medium
A sheet transport device includes a processor configured to adjust movement of a transport unit that transports a sheet on the basis of a transport load of the sheet.
SHEET TRANSPORT DEVICE AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
A sheet transport device includes a processor configured to adjust movement of a transport unit that transports a sheet on the basis of a transport load of the sheet.
Separator for book blocks
A device for separating printed products out of a stack, the device including a feed device which defines a substantially horizontal plane, a first stop element which is arranged on a mounting support as well as a transfer device which defines a substantially horizontal plane, wherein the feed device moves the stack against the first stop element, wherein the transfer device accepts and transfers the bottommost printed product out of the stack from the feed device, wherein the feed device includes a vacuum conveyor, by means of which the bottom surface of the bottommost printed product is sucked up at least in portions, as well as to a corresponding method.
Corrugated paperboard sheet feeding apparatus
A corrugated paperboard sheet feeding apparatus comprises: a plurality of sheet feeding rollers; a grate formed with a plurality of opening portions for receiving the sheet feeding rollers and configured to switch between contact and non-contact states of the corrugated paperboard sheet with respect to the sheet feeding rollers; and a suction box configured to suck the corrugated paperboard sheet downwardly by gaps between the sheet feeding rollers and the opening portions, wherein each of the gaps is formed to be 10 mm or less, and wherein the apparatus further comprises a mat switch for detecting an entry of a person into an area in a sheet feeding section, and a control device for stopping movement of the sheet feeding rollers and/or the grate when the mat switch is turned on.
SHEET PROCESSING MACHINE
The invention discloses a sheet processing machine with an alignment plate at the input. The sheets are piled against the plate, and during each machine cycle, the bottommost sheet is extracted and delivered to a gripper bar of the machine. The alignment plate can move precisely longitudinally and diagonally to adjust the position and the skew of the sheet for correct positioning in the gripper bar. The alignment plate is guaranteed to be kept vertical by using a pair of synchronized linear actuators on each side of the plate. The machine can adapt to varying sheet thickness by adjusting the gap below that plate thanks to a motorized gauge. To even better position the sheets, a set of abutments is provided after the plate, and at a fixed distance to the plate. The abutments are pivoting to get out of the way of the gripper bar when needed.
APPARATUS FOR DE-STACKING AND SORTING BOOK BLOCKS
An apparatus separates printed products that have been assembled into a stack. The apparatus includes a conveyor for transporting the stack, which is connected to an advanceable element, which implements separation of the printed products in the stack. The printed products in a receiving support are transferred into a skewed position, which leads to a reduction of the load on the printed products that are to be de-stacked. A retainer, which is part of the receiving support, and a support are set with a clearance with respect to the predefined printed product thickness.
