Integral Anti-Rollback for Injection Molded Tape Dispensers
A tape dispenser system includes a monolithic plastic injection molded frame with an integral anti-reverse rotation pawl. To help prevent the free end of a roll of tape from accidentally retracting, falling back, and frustratingly bonding onto the coiled portion of the tape, the pawl engages the inner diameter of a cardboard spool that holds the roll of tape. Strategically located mold parting lines and certain air gaps allow injection molding of a dispenser frame that has two spool-supporting sidewalls plus the integral pawl.
Rotating member for wrap dispenser
A rotating member for a wrap dispenser includes a first portion defining a first outer surface and a first inner surface, the first inner surface defining a first inner diameter; a second portion defining a second inner surface, the second inner surface defining a second inner diameter, wherein the first inner diameter is less than the second inner diameter; and an upset protruding radially outwardly from the first outer surface of the first portion, the upset oriented distal to the second portion, wherein a slot extends longitudinally through the upset to allow the upset to flex radially inward.
ERGONOMIC TAPE HOLDER AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to an ergonomic tape holder onto which a roll of tape is mounted and secured. In particular, the ergonomic tape holder is a single-piece and unitary constructed apparatus having vertical towers disposed on a fixed based which prevents the roll of tape from shifting, rolling, or moving about the base.
Tape applicator assembly and tape assembly
A tape applicator assembly for securing at least one cable within a corner defined by a first surface and a second surface that includes a body moveable along the at least one cable positioned on the first surface, a tape-receiving cavity defined in the body for receiving a tape assembly having tape, wherein the tape assembly is receivable within the tape-receiving cavity such that the tape is positioned for dispensing from the body, and a tape applying assembly defined within the body. The tape applying assembly is configured to adhere the tape to both the at least one cable and the first and second surfaces defining the corner as the body moves along the at least one cable on the first surface.
WRAP DISPENSER
A dispenser includes a rotating member configured to rotate about an axis of rotation, the rotating member comprising an engaging portion and a roll-holding portion, the roll-holding portion defining an outer surface and a cylindrical inner surface, the cylindrical inner surface extending from a first end of the roll-holding portion to a second end of the roll-holding portion opposite the first end, a rib extending radially inwardly from the cylindrical inner surface, the rib defining a free radially inward edge; and a holding member located radially outwardly of the engaging portion; wherein the cylindrical inner surface of the rotating member defines a first cylindrical portion adjacent to the first end and a second cylindrical portion adjacent to the second end, the rib extending axially along a length of the first cylindrical portion, the second cylindrical portion substantially smooth and absent any ribs.
Automatic tape setting apparatus
A component package tape is transported to a pitch feed mechanism section by a tape transport device and is held in a first tape holding section by a tape holding releasing device. Furthermore, a top tape adhered to a carrier tape that is transported to the pitch feed mechanism section is peeled from the carrier tape by a top tape peeling section while being clamped at a leading end section, is transferred to a top tape delivery mechanism section, and is held in a second tape holding section by the tape holding releasing device.
Method and device for applying adhesive-backed weatherstrip
A device for applying an adhesive-backed elongated seal (e.g., a weatherstrip seal) to a surface of a substrate. The device comprises a release liner removal tool having a stripper portion. The stripper portion comprises a spacer and a release liner guide surface. The spacer has a leading edge, an angled trailing edge, a central axis and a thickness profile that separates the adhesive on the back of the seal from the substrate surface while allowing the body of the seal to contact the substrate surface, when the stripper portion is positioned between the seal and the surface. The angled trailing edge has a transverse radius of curvature allowing the release liner to be removed from the adhesive, bent-backwards-over the trailing edge, and pulled-off along a portion of the guide surface, while the seal is adhered along its length to the surface.
Refill device for dispensing artificial eyelashes and refill for said device
A device for dispensing artificial eyelashes has a housing, a carrier strip to which a plurality of artificial eyelashes are fixed, and a movement mechanism capable of being actuated to cause the carrier strip to move in order to convey the artificial eyelashes towards an outside space of the housing. The device is equipped with a refill that is designed to be joined to the housing in a detachable manner. The refill has a plate, the carrier strip and the movement mechanism, the carrier strip and the movement mechanism being mounted on the plate. The invention further relates to a refill for such a device.
Assembly and method for taping walls for painting stripes and patterns
Assemblies and methods for applying painter's tape to a wall for painting stripes thereon wherein the assembly has a first elongated body with a first straight outer edge, a second elongated body having a second straight outer edge with a substantially transparent body and having a tape width guide marking substantially along the elongated body with a plurality of elongated markings parallel to the second straight outer edge, two or more arms each having ends rotatably coupled to the first and second elongated bodies respectively, each of the arms being spaced apart of another and coupled at different positions of the elongated bodies, and a coupling mechanism rotatably coupling an arm to one of the elongated bodies and having a locking feature selectively fixing the angular position of the coupling mechanism and preventing rotation of the rotatably coupled arm relative to the coupled elongated body.
