A tape roll dispenser has a backplate, a spindle, a cutting surface, a tab, and a writing device holder. The spindle is an arcuate channel with a bottom trough that extends outwardly from the upper section of the backplate and a sidewall that is parallel to the backplate's plane. The cutting surface extends outwardly from the bottom section of the backplate, and the tab extends upwardly from a center section of the cutting surface between serrated edges at opposite sides. The writing device holder has a pair of posts connected to and extending outwardly from the external surface of the sidewall with a rod connected between the posts and alternative writing device holders can be attached to different locations on the spindle or to the backplate, the cutting surface, or the tab. The serrated edges have a longer tooth positioned between two sets of teeth.

A modular reel drive assembly comprises two reel drive tower modules (12, 14), a reel hub adapter (54) and a reel hub adapter support module (22, 24). The hub adapter support module (22, 24) comprises at least one support pin which is configured to be movable between a storage position in which the at least one support pin is not aligned with at least one aperture (38, 39, 40, 41) on the hub adapter support module (22, 24) and an operational position in which the support pin is aligned with at least one aperture (38, 39, 40, 41) on the hub adapter support module (22, 24).

Implementations of a tape holder are provided. In some implementations, the tape holder may be used to secure a roll of tape to a magnetic surface. In some implementations, the tape holder is comprised of a base member and a spool support.

Provided is a reel for a conductor of an electric fence. The reel includes a bobbin, a frame for supporting the bobbin, and a connector. The connector can be two jaws and can have passages to connect the reel to a support such as a conductor of an existing fence or a tube of a vehicle. One of the jaws can be wide for stability. The connector can have an electrical conductor for connecting to the support and electrifying the conductor. The connector can also be operated by a trigger and can have a locking mechanism. The frame can be a one-piece frame made of plastics material. The reel can have a spreader and a hot-up bar. The reel can have a crank that can be disengaged from the bobbin and a brake that is applied when the crank is disengaged.

A barbed wire installation apparatus for easily installing barbed wire includes a hitch bracket to selectively engage a hitch receiver of a vehicle. A horizontal cross member is coupled to the hitch bracket. A plurality of cradle arms is coupled to the cross member. A pair of spindles is coupled to the plurality of cradle arms to secure a roll of barbed wire. A pair of upright members is coupled to the cross member. A winch is coupled to the hitch bracket and has a cable in operational communication with a topmost pulley of a plurality of pulleys coupled to the pair of upright members. A control box is coupled to the pair of upright members. A wire gripper is coupled to the winch. The wire gripper is in operational communication with a distal end of the cable to secure the barbed wire.

A clamp device to clamp to a fishing pole and strip fishing line may include a first clamp member, a second clamp member to pivotably connect to the first clamp member, and a spool member to connect to the first clamp member and the second clamp member to the fishing rod and to rotate and to strip fishing line. The first clamp member may include a first clamp pivoting device. The second clamp member may include a second clamp pivoting device. The first clamp member may include a first clamp arm. The second clamp member may include a second clamp arm. The first clamp arm may include a first clamp slot.

A method and apparatus for engaging a cable from a reel having a reel axle, such as for dispensing the cable from the reel with a motor assembly to figure eight a fiber optic cable sensitive to twisting. An adjustable frame is mounted to a first lifting arm. The adjustable frame is stored in a self-stowed configuration wherein the adjustable frame is vertically stacked parallel to the first lifting arm. The adjustable frame is deployed to align a distal frame end of the adjustable frame near the horizontal center of the reel in a plurality of lifting arm pivot positions.

An apparatus for installing cable that includes an outer box. Some embodiments include a reel, the cable, multiple components for installing the cable, and an inner packaging component that holds the components. Some embodiments include tie holes (e.g., two that line up) for passage of a zip tie for attachment of the apparatus to an identical box or anchoring object when pulling the cable. Boxes may include a left side with side flaps connected to front and back sides and cable holes in each flap line up when the box is assembled for passage of cable from the apparatus. The reel may be loose inside the box, which acts as a brake to keep the reel from over spinning when (e.g., communications) cable is pulled. Some outer boxes include certain sides, bends, flaps, tabs, or slots. The inner packaging component may be held in position by an elongated member.

Also provided is a method of using the multifunctional reel carrier, spoil material handling container device to lay cable and/or innerduct/microduct underground.
