Method and device for feeding elastic threads in a plant and process for the production of layered composite articles
A method for feeding elastic threads in a process for the production of layered composite articles includes: feeding at least one elastic thread along a path extending from a reel of an elastic thread up to a joining zone with at least one web material. Feeding the elastic thread along the above path includes: giving the elastic thread a first percentage elongation along a first section of the path extending between the reel and a control zone; giving the elastic thread a second percentage elongation along a second section of the path extending between the control zone and the joining zone. The second percentage elongation is greater than the first percentage elongation and a length of the first section is greater than a length of the second section.

Methods and apparatuses for making elastomeric laminates with elastic strands provided with a spin finish
The present disclosure relates to methods for making elastomeric laminates that may be used as components of absorbent articles. The methods and apparatuses may be configured with a plurality of elastic strands wound onto a beam, wherein one or more elastic strands comprises a spin finish. During assembly of an elastomeric laminate, the beam is rotated to unwind the elastic strands from the beam. A portion of the spin finish may be removed from the advancing elastic strand with a spin finish removal apparatus. The spin finish removal apparatus may be configured to apply detergent to an advancing elastic strand and may also wipe and/or dry the advancing elastic strand. The treated stretched elastic strand may then be connected between a first substrate and a second substrate. In some configurations, adhesive may be applied to the treated the elastic strand, the first substrate, and/or the second substrate.
Compact device for controlling the supply of thread to a processing machine
A compact device for controlling the supply of a textile or metal thread to a processing machine, such as a textile machine or a spooling or winding machine, includes a body, at least one rotary member with which the thread cooperates, the member associated with a rotation velocity detector for detecting the rotation velocity thereof, the detector connected to a control unit, a tension detector provided for detecting the thread tension connected to such control unit. The rotary member is idle and is placed in rotation by the thread which is moved thereon, in proximity to such member the tension detector being placed. Also disclosed is a method for controlling the supply of thread actuated by such device.
Method and system for feeding a thread to a textile machine, at a constant tension and preset draw, as a function of the operating step of the latter
A method for feeding a thread at a preset drawing to a textile machine includes a first feeder which sends the thread to the textile machine and a second feeder arranged spaced from the first feeder and which sends such thread to the latter, each feeder having a rotary member on which there is partly wound the thread before the feeding thereof and a speed sensor adapted to detect the rotational speed of such rotary member and a tension sensor to detect the tension of the thread exiting from each feeder. Controlling drawing the thread sent to the textile machine by controlling and adjusting the ratio between the rotational speed of the rotary member of the first feeder and the rotational speed of the rotary member of the second feeder.
