AUTOMATED MULTI-PURPOSE QUILLING DEVICE
An automated multi-purpose quilling device includes a housing and a driver element. The housing accommodates an electrical unit. The housing defines a through-hole and is configured to receive at least one tool attachment to perform one or more functions of quilling. The driver element is attached to the electrical unit of the housing. A first end of the driver element is placed onto the electrical unit within the housing and a second end of the driver element protrudes externally from the through-hole. The second end of the driver element is configured to receive the at least one tool attachment. The driver element is further configured to rotate when actuated by the electrical unit and in turn operate the at least one tool attachment.
COILER FOR A DUNNAGE CONVERSION MACHINE AND METHOD FOR COILING A STRIP OF DUNNAGE
A coiler for producing tighter or smaller coils of dunnage uses a cam to move fork pins from a dunnage-receiving position inwardly to a more closely-spaced coiling position. The fork pins are coupled to pin mounts that cooperate with the cam and slots in a guide plate to move the parallel fork pins between the dunnage-receiving and coiling positions. The fork pins are mounted to extend perpendicular to and through the guide plate on opposing sides of a path of the dunnage to capture and wind a dunnage strip into a coil.
Hose coiling device
A hose coiling device is provided. The hose coiling device includes an elongated shaft having an upper end and a lower end. An offset handle extends from the elongated shaft. A grip is affixed to the upper end, and a connector is disposed on the lower end. The connector removably secures one of a plurality of interchangeable tool heads thereto, wherein the plurality of interchangeable tool heads includes at least a flat hose coiling tool head and a garden hose coiling tool head. The flat hose coiling tool head includes a base removably securable to the connector, wherein the base includes a first prong and a second prong extending therefrom. The first prong is disposed parallel to the second prong. The garden hose coiling tool head includes a U-shaped member removably securable to the connector having at least one platform extending perpendicularly inwardly from an arm of the U-shaped member.
Fire Hose Reeling System
A fire hose reeling system includes a support frame that is positionable on a ground surface. The support frame has a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge. A reel apparatus is mounted on the support frame. The reel apparatus releasably engages a fire hose and forms the hose into a roll when the reel apparatus is actuated. A stabilizing panel has a perimeter edge pivotally coupled to the support frame such that the stabilizing panel is positionable in an upright position defining a stored position or in deployed position extending away from the first lateral edge. When in the deployed position, the stabilizing panel abuts the ground surface and is stepped upon while the reel apparatus is used to stabilize the assembly.
Removable Strap Collector
A device is installable on a strap for collecting a free end or excess portion of the strap. The device includes: a base removably securable on a portion of the strap, the base including a bracket located on a first side of the base and securable on the strap and a mount located on a second side of the base; a first leg having a first end and a second end that is distal from the first end, the first leg pivotally attached to the mount at the first end of the first leg; and a reel pivotally attached to the distal end of the first leg. The free end or excess portion of the strap is retained around the reel.
WINDER
Described is a tiedown winder. It has a base member having a magnetised region to allow the base member to be selectively secured one of a plurality of ferrous parts of a vehicle to become releaseable secured thereto. It also has an axle able, in a use position, to engage with said base member in a manner to allow rotation of the axle relative the base member and presenting a winding zone about which a tie down can be wound.
LOCKING CARGO RESTRAINT WITH MULTIPLE RETRACTING CABLES
A locking cargo restraint with multiple retracting cables is provided for securing cargo to a base, surface, or object. The locking cargo restraint is generally composed of a housing, retractable cables, and spools. The cables may be spooled within the housing to take up slack for storage of the device or to provide tension when cargo is being secured. The spools are spring biased to assist the user in pulling the cables into the housing. The cables are independently operable, allowing the operator to secure symmetrical or irregularly shaped objects. The locking cargo restraint also features a mode selection knob that can effectuate different modes of operation of the device such that the cables may be extended from the housing, retracted into the housing, or tightened about cargo. Further, the device includes a lock mechanism that, when engaged, limits the operation of the mode selection knob.
HIGH SPEED WINCH REWIND ADAPTER
This disclosure describes a high speed winch rewind adapter for quickly rewinding a loading strap. In one implementation, the adapter includes a body having a volume sized to at least partially surround an annular end of the winch. The annular end is coupled with a ratchet mechanism of the winch and having at least one hole for receiving a winch bar. A drive connector is positioned both within the volume of the body and external to the volume of the body, the drive connector external to the volume of the body having an external profile to receive a torque, and the drive connector within the volume of the body insertable into the annular end of the winch for alignment to the axis of rotation. A coupling mechanism synchronizes the drive connector to the annular end such that both the drive connector and the annular end rotate simultaneously.
APPARATUS FOR WINDING, HOUSING AND STORING WEBBING
A handheld webbing winder useful for winding, housing, storing and organizing webbing comprising a substantially circular cover with an opening and a substantially centered, slotted hub running horizontally through the cover, which connects to an external, finger-operated winding disk that may be operably engaged to wind and unwind webbing.
