DEVICE FOR RECEIVING AN EXTRUDED ELASTOMER STRAND DURING TRANSPORT TO A PROCESSING LOCATION
A device for receiving an extruded elastomer strand, during the transport thereof to a processing location, including a reel that receives the elastomer strand as a winding, wherein the moving reel is provided for temporary inclusion into a production facility that continuously processes the elastomer strand, by rotation of the reel, to form seals for doors or boots of vehicle bodies. The average thickness of the reel resulting from the total mass and the total volume of the material of the reel is <2.5 g/cm.sup.3.
ELASTIC SPOOL PROTECTOR
A device is provided for protecting a spool, such as, for example, a wire reel. An example of the device is useful for both preventing damage to spools and permitting damaged spools to be continued to be used. The elastic spool protector may include a disk-shaped member and a rim portion. In one example, an elastic spool protector is capable of being positioned on a flange of a wire reel. In one example, and an edge region of a flange may be received between a main portion and a lip portion of the elastic spool protector. The elastic spool protector may include one or more of various elastomeric materials.
ROBOTIC CORE PLUG INSERTER
The present invention relates to a new and useful method and apparatus for automatically inserting core plugs into wound paper cores that support rolls of paper, plastic film and other materials during manufacture.
Restriction device for preventing deformation of restriction plate of reel
A restriction device for preventing deformation of restriction plate of reel is disclosed. The restriction device includes a first circular restrictor, a second circular restrictor, a block member and a first push member. A clamping space exists between the first and second circular restrictors mounted on a shaft and is configured to accommodate a reel mounted on the shaft. The second circular restrictor is able to be moved on the shaft in an axial direction, the block member is fixed on the shaft and the first push member is placed between the block member and the second circular restrictor. The first push member is configured to apply a force to push the second circular restrictor toward the first circular restrictor to press a first restriction plate of the reel such that the deformation of the first restriction plate is prevented.
Medical examination paper roll
Medical examination paper rolls that do not have a cardboard core or other device for supporting the full width of the rolled examination paper but instead has a device inserted a limited distance into each edge of the roll to keep it from collapsing, that is easily inserted and removed.
Plastic cap for a cable spool
A cap to be used with a plastic cable spool, said cap including a back side adapted to be arranged towards a barrel of a plastic cable spool and a front side adapted to be directed away from a barrel of a plastic cable spool, wherein said cap has a through-hole adapted to be aligned with a center axis of a cable spool, wherein said through-hole is at least partly surrounded by an inner wall on the back side of said cap, wherein said cap is provided with an outer wall extending around at least a part of said outer circumference of said cap, on the back side of said cap, and wherein said back side of said cap is provided with at least four reinforcement ribs extending between said outer wall and said inner wall. A cable spool being provided with such a cap.
Winding core end protector
A core end protector comprised of a shock absorber and an annular, rigid attachment section that is attached to each end of a cardboard tissue core is provided. The core end protectors are securely mounted on the ends of the core. The outer diameter of the core end protector matches the outer diameter of the core. The inner diameter matches the inner diameter of the core. The core end protectors are made both with a rigid base section that mates to the core end face and a softer, shock absorbing section that comes in contact with external forces and impact loads. One single material or a plurality of materials may be used.
