Elevator group management system
An elevator group management system includes: a hall call registration device which is provided at a first hall; a hall destination call registration device which is provided at a second hall; a notification device which is provided at the first hall; an assigned car display device which is provided at the second hall; and a group management control device which selects a priority car from among a plurality of cars. When a priority car is selected, the group management control device performs, with respect to a hall call to which the priority car is already assigned, hall call control which differs from control with respect to a hall destination call to which the priority car is already assigned.
Contextual awareness-based elevator management
Processes, apparatuses, and systems associated with usage and contextual-based elevator operations management that have the capability to learn and to constantly adapt to usage patterns on a temporal basis through continuous monitoring of elevator journeys. An elevator journey may include a start and termination floor for an individual. Elevator journey data may be used to predict patterns of usage and maybe used, for example, to optimize the number of elevators operational at any time, determine the optimal parking position of each elevator, and/or determine an efficient allocation of elevators to groups or related floors.
SUPER GROUP ARCHITECTURE WITH ADVANCED BUILDING WIDE DISPATCHING LOGIC - DISTRIBUTED GROUP ARCHITECTURE
A method of operating a dispatcher of an elevator group of a building elevator system having a plurality of elevator systems organized into multiple elevator groups including: receiving an elevator call, the elevator call including a desired destination; transmitting elevator status data from the elevator group to one or more other elevator groups of the building elevator system; receiving elevator status data from each of the one or more other elevator groups of the building elevator system; determining a verdict depicting whether an elevator car of the elevator group is best to serve the elevator call in response to the elevator status data of each of the one or more other elevator groups of the building elevator system; and calling an elevator car in response to the verdict.
Passenger number based call allocation in an elevator system
A method for allocating an elevator in an elevator system constructs passenger batch size distributions for each pair of floors in a building based on passenger batch journeys, each passenger batch journey defining at least the origin and destination floor of the journey, the number of passengers relating to the journey and the time of the journey; receives a call for an elevator; estimates the number of passengers waiting behind the call based on the passenger batch size distributions; and allocates the call to an elevator being able to serve the estimated number of passengers.
SUPER GROUP DISPATCHING
A method of operating a building elevator system within a building having a plurality of floors is provided. The method including: controlling a building elevator system comprising a first elevator system having a first elevator car, a second elevator system having a second elevator car, and a third elevator system having a third elevator car, the first elevator car is configured to serve a plurality of floors within a first sector, the second elevator car is configured to serve a plurality of floors within a second sector, and the third elevator car is configured to serve a plurality of floors within the first sector and the second sector; detecting at least one of a time of day, an intensity of traffic between the first sector and the second sector, and an intensity of traffic within each sector; and assigning the third elevator car to the first sector or second sector.
User-controlled elevator allocation for independent service
A system for allocating elevator use based on an individual request includes a request module that receives a reservation request of an elevator car from a user, an allocation module that identifies a reserved elevator car based on the reservation request; and a mechanical control module that moves the reserved elevator car in response to commands provided by the user and the reservation request.
ELEVATOR OPERATION MANAGING DEVICE AND ELEVATOR OPERATION MANAGING METHOD
An elevator operation managing device capable of reducing a switching of passengers at a time of getting on and getting out of a car. The elevator operation managing device includes an in-car position acquisition unit and a car allocation acquisition unit. The in-car position acquisition unit obtains an in-car position of a user based on layout information and a congestion degree obtained in a congestion degree acquisition unit. The car allocation acquisition unit performs a car allocation to allocate the user to the car based on a received boarding floor and destination floor and the in-car position obtained in the in-car position acquisition unit.
ELEVATOR BOARDING AREA NOTIFICATION SYSTEM
An elevator boarding area notification system includes a first read means displaced for each elevator at a boarding area and reads out passenger identification information from a device carried by a passenger; storing a destination floor in relation to the identification information; assigning an elevator car for the destination floor; reading out the identification information at a closer position to the elevator than the first read means reads out; making an agreement decision where the identification information about which assignment was performed by the assigner is read out by a second read means corresponding to the same elevator car, and making a disagreement decision when read out by a second read means corresponding to a different elevator; and making no notification when the first determination means makes an agreement decision, and making a notification of a destination floor and elevator when the first determination means makes a disagreement decision.
Pre-call scheduling assistant
In accordance with exemplary embodiments there is determining geo-routines of a user, the geo-routines based on at least one of a location and an altitude and a trajectory of the user, recording the determined geo-routines of user of the system; and based on a current trajectory of a user indicating that the user is going to use a transportation system, optimizing a use of the system according to the recorded geo-routines of the user of the system. In addition, sending information including a location and/or an altitude of a user, and a trajectory of the user, the information associated with a current geo-routine of the user, and receiving information to optimize the use of a transportation system, the receiving based on a current trajectory indicating that the user is going to use the transportation system and on the current geo-routine and/or historical geo-routines of a user of the transportation system.
