Elevator assembly with counterweight blocking stop
An elevator assembly (1) comprises an elevator car (2), a counterweight (4), and a safety device (8) located on a roof (9) of the elevator car (2). A locking handle (10) is positioned within the elevator shaft (6), and connected to a first end (12a) of a tension member (12). A blocking stop (14) is connected to a second end (12b) of the tension member (12). The blocking stop (14) is moveable between an inactive state, in which the tension member (12) holds the blocking stop (14) in a position in which it does not limit downwards movement of the counterweight (4), and an active state, in which tension in the tension member (12) is reduced to allow the blocking stop (14) to move to a position in which it limits downwards movement of the counterweight (4).

The present invention is a device for moving people or items on the Jewish Sabbath and certain Jewish holidays in a manner that is widely acceptable within Jewish Law through powering and controlling this invention with municipal water. The invention includes applying this technology to elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters, conveyors, stair lifts, porch lifts, and more. Within the invention are certain components and groups of components that are unique in their arrangement and purpose.
DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING AN ELEVATOR SYSTEM
A device for controlling an elevator system, the elevator system having an elevator shaft delimited by a shaft wall including a wall opening connecting an inner face of the shaft wall to an outer face of the shaft wall, is positioned in the wall opening. The device has a housing receiving a controller for controlling the elevator system, wherein the housing includes a housing opening allowing access to the controller and the housing is rotatably mounted in the wall opening for rotation between a first position and a second position in an operational state of the device. The housing opening is accessible from the outer face of the shaft wall in the first position and from the inner face of the shaft wall in the second position.
ELEVATOR OPERATION PANEL
In an elevator operation panel, a front part of a casing includes a frame body and a front surface plate. The frame body includes a first vertical frame and a second vertical frame. A fixing member is laid across the first vertical frame and the second vertical frame. A holding member for holding the front surface plate on the frame body is fixed to the fixing member. The holding member includes a holding portion that overlaps a vertical direction end portion of a front surface of the front surface plate, and a fastening portion that projects rearward from the holding portion and is screwed to the fixing member.

Disclosed is a fixture plate comprising a back plate defined by a member extending in a widthwise (W) direction and a height-wise (H) direction, a plurality of support arms including a first support arm and a second support arm connecting proximate a bottom edge of the back plate and spaced in the widthwise direction by a distance W1, each of the plurality of support arms comprising a compound profile defining a pivot section and a support section the pivot section extending arcuately downward along the height-wise direction to a first distal end, the support section comprising a first portion forming a support base, the support base extending perpendicularly away from the back plate to a second distal end, and a second portion that forms a hook portion, the hook portion extending upwardly along the height-wise direction to a third distal end to from a free end of the support section.
Touchless elevator keyboard system
A touchless keyboard system for operating an elevator through an existing touch-sensitive keyboard of the elevator, the touchless keyboard system including a touchless detection device comprising at least one sensor for detecting non-touch indications from users for opted floors, an actuation device comprising at least one actuator for physical engaging buttons of the existing touch-sensitive keyboard of the elevator corresponding to the opted floors, and a controller in communication with the detection device and with the actuation device for receiving and processing output signals from the at least one sensor and controlling movement of the at least one actuator based on the processed output signals. The touchless keyboard system further comprises a touchless keyboard housing for receiving the touchless detection device and the actuation device, where the touchless keyboard housing is operatively mountable to the touch-sensitive keyboard of the elevator. There is also provided a device unit, and a method of operating an elevator through an existing touch-sensitive keyboard of the elevator.
