An elevator system includes first and second elevator cars movable vertically in a first elevator shaft, a closed support belt routed around lower and upper deflection rollers, a drive machine driving the support belt, and an actuable coupling device arranged on each of the first and second elevator cars. The support belt has first and second coupling elements to and from which the coupling devices can be coupled and decoupled whereby a drive connection between the respective elevator car and the support belt can be established and released. A coupled elevator car is moved in the first elevator shaft by the support belt driven by the drive machine. The coupling elements are arranged such that they are not routed around the deflection rollers during movement of the first elevator car from a lower end position to an upper end position or vice versa.

ELEVATOR SYSTEM WITH SELF-PROPELLED AUTONOMOUS CAB
20220380179 · 2022-12-01 ·

An elevator system wherein a cab is moved within a shaft by a tractive drive system that transmits torque frictional force on the interior surface of the shaft, enabling the cab to travel without cables and travel for long distances. The tractive drive system automatically regulates these normal forces. A method of controlling a plurality of these cabs disposed within a plurality of shafts by means of electronic systems.

Elevator system

An elevator system includes an elevator car that is movable in an elevator shaft in the vertical direction, a closed support belt guided about a lower deflection roller and an upper deflection roller and a drive machine driving the support belt. A drive connection is made between the support belt and the elevator car with a coupling device arranged on the elevator car that is coupled to a coupling element of the support belt. The coupling element is a connection element that connects two free ends of the support belt together.

ELEVATOR SHAFT ELEMENT, ELEVATOR ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD

An elevator shaft element, an elevator arrangement and a method. The elevator shaft element comprises a frame module arranged for receiving an elevator car therein. The frame module is constructed from a transport and/or storage unit, comprising side walls, a bottom wall and a roof wall. The unit is arranged to be positioned vertically such that said side walls, bottom wall and upper wall of the unit define an inner space of the elevator shaft. Elevator car guides for guiding movement of the elevator car in the elevator shaft element are attached to said bottom wall and/or roof wall.

METHOD FOR OPERATING AN ELEVATOR SYSTEM AND ELEVATOR SYSTEM DESIGNED FOR PERFORMING THE METHOD

The present disclosure concerns a method for operating an elevator system which comprises a shaft system and at least three cars, which is designed for separately moving the cars in at least a first direction of travel and in a second direction of travel. The at least three cars are moved separately in sequential operation each time and for each car a stop point at which the car can stop if necessary is continuously predicted at least for one direction of travel. The distance of the predicted stop points of neighboring cars from each other is thereby continuously determined. The elevator system is transferred to a safety mode if a negative distance of the stop points is determined.

An elevator system includes a car, a main rope, a car, a detector, and a sway detection unit. The car moves vertically. The main rope moves as the car moves. The car moves vertically. The detector is provided on the car. The detector detects the position of the main rope. The sway detection unit detects, on the basis of the position detected by the detector, that abnormal swaying requiring a control operation is occurring in the main rope.

METHOD FOR OPERATING A LIFT SYSTEM

A method for operating an elevator system, which may include at least two cars that can move independently of one another within a common elevator shaft, may involve determining with an elevator controller to cause a first car of the at least two cars to perform a transportation process from a start stopping point to a destination stopping point. The elevator controller may determine a starting time and travel parameters according to which the first car carries out the transportation process from the start stopping point to the destination stopping point. The starting time and the travel parameters may be determined by taking into account state parameters of a second car of the at least two cars.

EVACUATION CONCEPT FOR ELEVATOR SYSTEMS
