Arrangement of a monitoring sensor in an escalator or in a moving walkway
An escalator or a moving walkway has two access regions, each with a comb plate, and a conveying region arranged between the access regions. The conveying region extends between the two comb plates of the access regions. At least one projection projects into the conveying region at at least one stationary part of the escalator or moving walkway. At least one monitoring sensor is arranged at least partly in the at least one projection.

PASSENGER CONVEYOR SYSTEM
A passenger conveyor system has a conveyor belt with a longitudinal extension in the conveying direction and a balustrade on at least one side of the conveyor belt. At least sections of the balustrade extend laterally adjacent the conveyor belt. The balustrade has at least two balustrade sections. At least one opening for entering and leaving the conveyor belt is located between two successive balustrade sections of the balustrade laterally adjacent the conveyor belt.

Passenger conveyor balustrade apparatus and lighting holder
In a passenger conveyor balustrade apparatus, a lighting box includes: a ceiling portion; and a pair of side surface portions that protrude downward from the ceiling portion so as to face each other, an opening being disposed on a lower portion of the lighting box. A lighting holder that holds a lighting appliance is mounted inside the lighting box. The lighting holder has an elastically deforming portion. The lighting holder is held inside the lighting box by being pressed against the pair of side surface portions by elastically deforming the elastically deforming portion.
