An elevator display system includes: a sensing device that acquires sensing data indicating condition of an inside of a cage; a mirror display device arranged in the cage on a side opposite to an elevator door, functions in a first state as a mirror, and functions in a second state as an image display unit; a content generation unit that generates display image data to be displayed on the mirror display device; an in-cage condition judgment unit that judges condition of a user in the cage from the sensing data and outputs user information regarding the condition of the user; and a display control unit that outputs a control signal requesting generation of display image data for setting a display state of a display surface of the mirror display device to the first state or the second state to the display image generation unit based on the user information.

Floor content information of an elevator is described. According to an embodiment, a device is disclosed, comprising: a processor; a storage comprising a set of instructions; wherein the set of instructions cause the processor to: Receive a destination floor of the elevator; Receive information describing content of the destination floor, wherein the content identifies the content located within the destination floor; Based on the destination floor and the information describing the content of the destination floor, display a data notification to at least one user using the elevator travelling to the destination floor. An elevator notice system for an elevator system includes at least one hoistway defined by a structure having a plurality of areas with each area having at least one gate and at least one car in each of the at least one hoistway. At least one of the at least one gate is associated with a respective hoistway. The elevator notice system includes a controller and a programmable display. The controller is configured to control the display and track the current location and scheduled destination of each of the at least one car in each of the at least one hoistway. The programmable display includes a car identification portion displaying a car identification type associated with a specific car of the at least one car, and is configured to display at least a next area destination associated with the specific car.

A building security system includes an emergency communications system of an elevator installation, and a building alarm system. The emergency communications system has a communications interface to couple the emergency communications system to a remote elevator service central in an emergency situation, and an emergency call panel arranged in an elevator car to allow a passenger to communicate with the remote elevator service central via the communications interface while in the elevator car during the emergency situation. The building alarm system includes a plurality of sensor units arranged at predetermined locations of the building and selected to detect predetermined building events. The building alarm system is communicatively coupled to the emergency communications system of the elevator installation for communicating the building event to the elevator service central via the emergency communications system of the elevator installation, and/or for receiving an action request from the remote elevator service central via the communications interface of the emergency communications system.

Elevator systems having an elevator car located within an elevator shaft, the elevator car moveable between a plurality of floors of a building, a car operating panel located within the elevator car and having a plurality of buttons operable for selection of a destination floor of the plurality of floors, a digital readable marker located within the elevator car that is at least one of scannable and readable by a user device, and a digital storage system having information stored thereon, the information including directory information, wherein the directory information includes information associated with the floors selectable by operation of the plurality of buttons. When a user device scans or reads the digital readable marker, the digital storage system transmits the directory information to the user device so that the user device can display the directory information to a passenger.

An elevator operation panel has a plurality of buttons for selecting target floors and a plurality of touch-sensitive areas, each area being associated with one of the buttons. The panel includes an output device, such as a display or a loudspeaker, for outputting information, a control unit connected to the buttons, to the areas and to the output device, and a data storage device storing at least one data folder for each target floor. Each folder contains information relating to the associated target floor. Upon triggering one of the touch-sensitive areas, the control unit reads the information in one of the folders relating to the target floor selectable by the button to which the area is associated and outputs the information at the output device. Subsequent triggering of the same area causes the control unit to read another folder related to the target floor and output the information therein.

There is a method, a system, and a computer program product that receives information from a set of on-line source and projects the information by devices positioned above elevator doors according to a criteria. Each digital projection system may be independently operated, powered and connected through a server which is controlled and monitored by the building's operations center. Each unit is capable of streaming pre-recorded advertised informational display separately or the operations center can synchronize all the digital projection systems within the building to function as a single unit in the case of live information feed or in case of emergency.

An illustrative example embodiment of an elevator system interface includes a voice-activated input that is configured to receive audible input from a user. A processor is configured to determine a response to the audible input based on a content of the audible input and at least one other factor. An output provides at least an audible indication of the determined response.

A passenger customization system including: a processor; and a memory including computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations. The operations including: detecting that an individual is within a selected range of an elevator system; obtaining a passenger attribute of the individual; and adjusting a component of the elevator system in response to the passenger attribute.

Elevator systems including an elevator car having a first elevator car door and an openable ceiling, the openable ceiling comprising a ceiling frame and an openable panel, the openable panel moveable from an open position to a closed position relative to the ceiling frame, an imaging device mounted to the openable panel and configured to capture image data of a detection zone that includes at least an opening formed by the first elevator car door when the openable panel is in the closed position, and a display located within the elevator car to display an image associated with the image data received from the imaging device. The openable panel is openable to create an access way that permits access from an interior of the elevator car to a top exterior of the elevator car.
