Elevator sound systems
Elevator systems including an elevator car moveable within an elevator shaft, the elevator car having a first elevator car component, the first elevator car component having a first side facing an interior of the elevator car and a second side opposite from the first side and a structural sound-generation system. The structural sound-generation system having at least one audio actuator coupled to the second side of the first elevator car component and an audio system controller in communication with the at least one audio actuator. The structural sound-generation system is configured to generate vibrations within the first elevator car component such that sound waves are produced therefrom and projected into the interior of the elevator car.
Movement-distance measurement apparatus capable of reducing error due to change in angle of maximum reflection intensity according to movement and reducing error due to misalignment of antenna
A movement-distance measuring apparatus is provided with: an antenna, a phase detection circuit, a phase-shift calculation circuit, and a movement-distance calculation circuit. The antenna transmits a radio wave toward a plurality of reflectors arranged at constant intervals along a moving path of a moving object, and receives a reflected wave from the reflectors. The phase detection circuit detects a phase of the reflected wave received by the antenna. The phase-shift calculation circuit calculates a phase shift based on the phase detected by the phase detection circuit. The movement-distance calculation circuit calculates a movement distance of the moving object, based on the phase shift calculated by the phase-shift calculation circuit, and based on the interval of the reflectors.
Call panel for an elevator
A call panel for an elevator including a call panel frame, an essentially planar front surface, a center panel connected to the call panel frame, and at least one call pushbutton also connected to the call panel frame. The at least one call pushbutton has teeth which fit into corresponding teeth of the call panel frame such that a gap between the at least one call pushbutton and the call panel frame is minimized.
Connecting device for measurement tapes in elevator devices
In order to be able to increase safety in elevator systems, a connecting device for connecting a transmission device for transmitting information is provided, wherein the transmission device is attached to a measurement tape for determining the position of a cab in an elevator shaft and wherein the connecting device is designed as a guide bracket for guiding and/or supporting the measurement tape, so that the guide bracket at least partially surrounds the measurement tape, and wherein the guide bracket has at least one opening for reading out the marking unit, and wherein the connecting device has two connection contacts for connecting to one of the communication lines and/or supply lines and an interruption device for interrupting one of the communication lines and/or supply lines, wherein the interruption device is situated in such a way that the interruption occurs between the two connection contacts.
ELEVATOR SYSTEM
A landing door of an elevator system includes a door leaf equipped with an integrated floor indicator that signals to a person the floor on which an elevator car approaching the exit floor is currently located. The door leaf of the landing door has a wall element made of sheet metal with a microperforated indicator sector and actuatable light sources arranged in the indicator sector behind the wall element to form the floor indicator.
Elevator doorway display systems for elevator cars
Elevator systems including an elevator car having a first elevator car door and an openable ceiling, the openable ceiling comprising a ceiling frame and an openable panel, the openable panel moveable from an open position to a closed position relative to the ceiling frame, an imaging device mounted to the openable panel and configured to capture image data of a detection zone that includes at least an opening formed by the first elevator car door when the openable panel is in the closed position, and a display located within the elevator car to display an image associated with the image data received from the imaging device. The openable panel is openable to create an access way that permits access from an interior of the elevator car to a top exterior of the elevator car.
Measurement and diagnostic of elevator door performance using sound and video
A component monitoring system for monitoring a component of a conveyance system including a conveyance apparatus including: a camera configured to capture a sequence images of the component, the sequence of images being motion data; and a processor configured to determine an evaluation summary of the component in response to at least the motion data.
ELEVATOR POSITION MEASUREMENT SYSTEM
An elevator system includes an elevator car, an elongate tension member operably connected to the elevator car and configured to move the elevator car, and an elevator car position measurement system. The elevator car position measurement system includes a pulse generator configured to transmit a pulse along the elongate tension member; and a detector unit configured to receive the pulse from the pulse generator after the pulse has been transmitted along a length of the elongate tension member and to record a time at which the pulse is received. One of the pulse generator and the detector unit is arranged to move within the hoistway dependent on a position of the elevator car within the hoistway, such that a length of the elongate tension member along which the pulse is transmitted changes dependent on a position of the elevator car within the hoistway.
Monitoring system
An elevator system includes a car door and a sensor module. The car door is movable relative to an elevator car by a drive mechanism. The sensor module includes a first acoustic sensor arranged to provide a first acoustic signal, a second acoustic sensor arranged to provide a second acoustic signal, and a processor arranged to receive the first acoustic signal and the second acoustic signal. The processor is programmed to, responsive to an input provided to the first acoustic sensor and the second acoustic sensor, identify a direction of an elevator system noise source based on a first time delay based on the first acoustic signal and the second acoustic signal.
ELEVATOR SYSTEM
A landing door of an elevator system has a door leaf equipped with an integrated floor display that indicates to a person the floor at which an elevator car approaching the floor of departure is currently located. The door leaf of the landing door has a wall element made of sheet metal, the floor display having at least one controllable light source arranged behind the wall element, and a cover layer. The wall element has a display segment with a plurality of light passage openings, the light passage openings forming a perforated screen structure. The cover layer functions such that after the light source is activated to display the desired floor information, light from the light source penetrates through the light passage openings and the cover layer to the outside and when the light source is deactivated, the cover layer does not let light through to the outside.
