ELEVATOR COMPENSATION ASSEMBLY MONITOR
20230052952 · 2023-02-16 ·

An illustrative example embodiment of an elevator compensation assembly includes a tie down mechanism and at least one compensation sheave that has an outer surface configured to engage at least one compensation rope member. At least one damper is associated with the tie down mechanism for resisting vertical movement of the tie down mechanism in at least one direction. At least one detector directly detects vertical movement of the tie down mechanism along the direction and provides an output indicating at least one characteristic of the detected vertical movement.

Inspection assembly for elevator system

Disclosed is an assembly having: at least one drive wheel configured to roll against a hoistway rail of an elevator system; and a drive mechanism supported by the assembly and configured to drive the at least one of drive wheel, wherein the assembly is configured to support one or more sensors.

SLIDING GUIDE SHOE FOR AN ELEVATOR
20230113353 · 2023-04-13 ·

A sliding guide shoe for an elevator has a guide shoe housing and an insert inserted into the guide shoe housing for guiding an elevator car or a counterweight. In order to positionally secure the insert, the insert has profiled pins that engage in bores in the guide shoe housing. In order to form the profiling, the pins each have radially outwardly directed ribs or projections that are distributed evenly over the circumference.

ELEVATOR SYSTEM
20220332543 · 2022-10-20 ·

An elevator system includes guide rails located in an elevator hoistway and a running device adapted to reciprocate along the guide rails, and the guide rails are tensioned guide ropes.

Elevator door roller and track replacement

An elevator door subsystem including a hanger mount, a leveling cam, an engaging member, and a roller assembly, configured such that when the roller assembly is positioned on one side of the elevator door hanger, the hanger mount is positioned within an opening of the elevator door hanger, and the leveling cam is positioned on another side of the elevator door hanger, the engaging member is receivable by the roller assembly after the engaging member is passed through an opening in the leveling cam, an opening in the hanger mount, and the opening in the door hanger.

ELEVATOR SYSTEMS, GUIDE RAIL ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS OF INSTALLING ELEVATOR SYSTEMS
20230141731 · 2023-05-11 ·

An elevator system (2) comprising a hoistway (4), an elevator car (6) and a counterweight (8) arranged to move within the hoistway (4). The system (2) further includes a first counterweight guide rail and a second counterweight guide rail arranged to guide the counterweight within the hoistway (4) and a guide rail bracket (32) which connects the first and second counterweight guide rails together. An elevator machine (10) is arranged to drive a tension member (14), which couples the elevator car (6) and counterweight together (8), to move the elevator car (6) within the hoistway (4). The system (2) further includes a friction reducing element (36) arranged on the guide rail bracket (32) such that if the tension member (14) moves towards the guide rail bracket (32) during operation of the elevator system (2), the tension member (14) contacts the friction reducing element (36).

FRICTIONLESS ELECTRONIC SAFETY ACTUATOR
20230139867 · 2023-05-04 ·

A frictionless electronic safety actuator (100) for use in an elevator system, which includes at least one electromagnet (110), and a magnetic plate (120) attached to a connection arrangement (190). The connection arrangement (190) is configured to connect the magnetic plate (120; 220) to a linkage (80) that is actuatable so as to move a safety brake (24) into frictional engagement with an elevator guide rail (20). The at least one electromagnet (110) is operable to selectively produce a magnetic force which acts upon the magnetic plate (120) to displace the magnetic plate (120) and thereby move the connection arrangement (190) to actuate the linkage (80) without the magnetic plate (120) coming into frictional engagement with the elevator guide rail (20).

TRUCK CONTAINER LIFT SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME

Truck container lift systems are disclosed. Truck containers having at least one secure compartment are also disclosed. Methods of making and using truck container lift systems and truck containers having at least one secure compartment are further disclosed.

ELEVATOR CAR FRAME, ELEVATOR CAR AND ELEVATOR SYSTEM
20230202802 · 2023-06-29 ·

An elevator car frame, an elevator car and an elevator system. The elevator car frame includes a top, a bottom and uprights extending between the top and the bottom and deviating from a longitudinal middle portion of the elevator car frame, and at least one of the uprights is provided with car guide shoes arranged to enable the elevator car frame, after being installed in an elevator hoistway, to move along a car guide rail disposed in the elevator hoistway through the car guide shoes.

SLIDING GUIDE SHOE FOR AN ELEVATOR
20170362058 · 2017-12-21 · ·

A sliding guide shoe for an elevator for conveying persons or goods includes a guide shoe housing with a channel-like rail receptacle in which an inlay for guidance of an elevator car along a guide rail extending in longitudinal direction is inserted. The guide shoe housing is constructed substantially from the three following housing parts: a base plate and two side parts that are fastened to the base plate by screw connections. The guide shoe housing enables the channel width of the rail receptacle to be varied for adaptation to different guide rails.
