A VACUUM LIFTING DEVICE
A vacuum lifting device to facilitate the lifting and/or repositioning of an article having an external surface as set out herein comprises at least one pair of handles and a base having opposed first and second surfaces, the base having an aperture arranged through the base. The second surface is arranged is provided with a continuous sealing joint projecting downwards from the second surface defining an enclosed area which includes the aperture on the bottom surface of the base. The vacuum lifting device also comprises a suction conduit arranged to be connected to a vacuum generating member and configured to be in fluid connection with the second surface of the base through the aperture. The vacuum lifting device further comprises an extendable lifting member arranged between the at least one pair of handles and the first surface of the base, the lifting member is actuated by a lift actuating member for shifting the base in a vertical direction transferring said vacuum lifting device (10) between an extended and a compressed state. A method for using the vacuum lifting device is also disclosed.
Operating device for a tube lifter and tube lifter
The invention relates to an operating device for a tube lifter having a lifting tube that has a tube interior and can be shortened by applying a vacuum to the tube interior, and having a suction grip device arranged on one end of the tube lifter, which suction grip device can be supplied with a vacuum through the tube interior, the operating device having a suction port for fluid communication with the suction grip device, a lifting tube port for fluid communication with the tube interior of the lifting tube, and a valve for controlling the fluid communications.
Operating Device For A Tube Lifter And Tube Lifter
The invention relates to an operating device for a tube lifter having a lifting tube that has a tube interior and can be shortened by applying a vacuum to the tube interior, and having a suction grip device arranged on one end of the tube lifter, which suction grip device can be supplied with a vacuum through the tube interior, the operating device having a suction port for fluid communication with the suction grip device, a lifting tube port for fluid communication with the tube interior of the lifting tube, and valve means for controlling the fluid communications, the valve means including a control valve which is adjustable between a closed position and an open position, in the open position a flow path from the surroundings to the lifting tube port being open, and in the closed position said flow path being substantially closed, and a control mechanism comprising a manually actuable operating element being provided for adjusting the control valve.
Device for manipulating flat objects etc
Device for manipulating a flat object (1), comprising a lifting hook (2) and a traverse (4) with suction cups (5), which are evacuated by a vacuum pump (6). The traverse is connected to the hook via a bearing structure (7), so that the traverse can be rotated (R) and be tilted (K). The vacuum pump tilts but does not co-rotate with the traverse and the object.
DEVICE FOR MANIPULATING FLAT OBJECTS ETC.
Device for manipulating a flat object (1), comprising a lifting hook (2) and a traverse (4) with suction cups (5), which are evacuated by means of a vacuum pump (6). The traverse is connected to the hoisting hook via a bearing structure (7), so that the traverse can be rotated (R) and be tilted (K). The bearing structure comprises a rotary bearing (8/9) and a pivot bearing (11/13). The rotary bearing comprises an outer bearing member (8) connected with the traverse and an inner bearing member (9). The pivot bearing is connected with the lower end (12) of the lifting hook by means of a first bearing portion (11), and is connected to the inner bearing member of the rotary bearing by means a second bearing portion (13), which is tiltable relative to the first bearing portion. By means of a mounting frame (14) the vacuum pump is connected with the second bearing portion (13) of the pivot bearing and/or with the inner bearing member (9) of the rotary bearing, so that the vacuum pump tilts but does not co-rotate with the traverse and the object.
