The lift member (13.40) can do one or more than one of the following: engaging the formation (401) will unlock a locking mechanism (13.42,458) holding the lid (400) to a container (100); or allow the lift member (13.40) to be rotated to thereby unlock the locking mechanism (13.42, 458) which locks the lid (400) to the container (100), while simultaneously locking the lift member (13.40, 458) to the lid (400). A lifting device which is able to perform such actions is also disclosed, and a method to operate the lifting device.
DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING A CONTAINER, PARTICULARLY A BOTTOM-UNLOADING CONTAINER
Controlling a container, such as a spreader, is described for engaging, retaining, and moving containers, as well as for unloading containers, particularly bottom-unloading containers. A spreader includes a frame having mounted thereon twistlocks, an actuator, a movable engagement mechanism, and force transmission means connecting the actuator and the movable engagement mechanism. The actuator and the force transmission means are substantially disposed along the long sides of the frame, and the movable engagement mechanism is substantially disposed on the short sides of the frame. The actuator allows the movable engagement mechanism to move reciprocally primarily in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the frame. The spreader significantly expands the functionality of devices used for engaging, retaining, moving, and unloading containers, makes it possible to unload a bottom-unloading container, and also allows the automation, simplification, and acceleration of the unloading process of such a container.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR LOADING AND UNLOADING CARGO OF AIR MOBILITY
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method for loading and unloading cargo of air mobility, in which cargo loading and unloading may be automated without the aid of human resources, as well as enabling loading and unloading of cargo in a required location without an air mobility landing. The apparatus includes a winch installed in a cargo hold of an air mobility, a multiarticulated robot arm suspended from the winch, and a gripper provided on an end of the multiarticulated robot arm and capable of gripping a container.
CONTAINER MANIPULATION DEVICE AND HOISTING DEVICE
The invention provides a container manipulation device comprising a frame, two container engagement members, two pivoting mechanisms for pivoting the engagement members with respect to the frame, the pivoting mechanisms each include a coupler, pivotally connected with a first end to the engagement member at a first distance from the engagement member pivot axis, a rocker, pivotally connected with a first end to the frame and with a second end to a second end of the coupler, and an actuator for pivoting the rocker about the rocker pivot axis such that the engagement member pivots between the first and second orientation. The invention also provides a hoisting device comprising such a container manipulation device.
Apparatus for removing and installing a battery for an electrically driven vehicle and related method
It is described herein an apparatus for removing and installing a battery for an electrically driven vehicle, and a related method for removing and installing a battery into an electrically driven vehicle. The apparatus may comprise a guide system, a battery containment structure, and a linear motion device. The guide system may comprise a first track and a second track. The battery containment structure may comprise a first plurality of bearings and a second plurality of bearings, and may be configured to receive and hold the battery. When the battery containment structure is acted upon by a linear force applied by the linear motion device to lower and raise the battery containment structure, the first plurality of bearings moves linearly along the first track while the second plurality of bearings moves linearly along the second track,
