SYNCHRONIZED HYBRID CLAMP FORCE CONTROLLER FOR LIFT TRUCK ATTACHMENT
A hydraulic control circuit operable to selectively hydraulically link first and second hydraulic actuators and to bypass that hydraulic link.
Systems and methods for pulling and installing posts
A system for pulling posts is disclosed. The system for pulling posts comprises a mast extending along a direction having a vertical component, an elongated arm rotatably and pivotably supported by the mast and extending at an angle relative to the mast, a pusher with first and second opposite ends, the first end of the pusher being configured to support the elongated arm at a first location of the elongated arm, and the second end of the pusher being configured to contact a ground surface, the pusher being configured to increase in length to drive the first location of the elongated arm away from a ground surface and thereby change the angle relative to the mast, and a pole attachment site at a second location of the elongated arm.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL GRAPPLE-HEEL COMBINATION DEVICE FOR USE WITH A MANIPULATION MACHINE
A grapple-heel rack having a frame, a grapple, and first and second angle-enabler catches. A grapple attachment (which may be or may include a universal joint) may be used to support the grapple from a nose of the frame. A mechanical grapple return system may be used to return the grapple from anon-neutral position to a neutral position. At least one method for using the grapple-heel rack.
Coupling tool for connection to an outer end of a tubular element for upending the element
A coupling tool for connection to an outer end of a tubular element for the purpose of upending the element has an engaging mechanism with which the outer end of the element can be engaged, and a pivotable lifting member with which the coupling tool can be suspended from a lifting device such as a crane. Resilient arms are further mounted on the coupling tool, which arms can be moved from a starting position to a position against a wall part of the outer end of the element for the purpose of aligning the suspended coupling tool relative to the outer end, and for damping movements of the suspended coupling tool. Also described herein is a device which utilizes the coupling tool, and a method which makes use of the device.
POWERED HANDLER
A powered handler for handling a workpiece, comprising: a body extending between a first and a second end; an input device adjacent the first end; a handling implement adjacent the second end, the handling implement operatively connected to the input device and operable to handle the workpiece; and a suspender having a proximate end mounted to the body at at least one pivot of the suspender defining a pitch axis of the powered handler, the body pivotable relative to the suspender about the pitch axis, the at least one pivot disposed between the input device and the handling implement and displaceable relative to the body to a balanced position located between a first and a second position closer to the second end than the first position, the suspender having a distal end spaced upwardly from the body for mounting the suspender to suspend the body from the suspender.
Coupling Tool for Connection to an Outer End of a Tubular Element for Upending the Element
Described herein is a coupling tool for connection to an outer end of a tubular element for the purpose of upending the element. The coupling tool has engaging means with which the outer end of the element can be engaged, and a pivotable lifting member with which the coupling tool can be suspended from a lifting means such as a crane. Resilient arms are further mounted on the coupling tool, which arms can be moved from a starting position to a position against a wall part of the outer end of the element for the purpose of aligning the suspended coupling tool relative to the outer end, and for damping movements of the suspended coupling tool. Also described herein is a device which comprises the coupling tool, and a method which makes use of the device.
SYNCHRONIZED HYBRID CLAMP FORCE CONTROLLER FOR LIFT TRUCK ATTACHMENT
A hydraulic control circuit operable to selectively hydraulically link first and second hydraulic actuators and to bypass that hydraulic link.
Lid assembly for portable biochar kiln
A lid assembly for a portable biochar kiln and system is disclosed. An example of a lid assembly includes a cylindrical sidewall, a rim around the cylindrical sidewall, and a top portion having an opening formed therein. A removable stack is configured to fit over the opening formed in the top portion to direct exhaust from the portable biochar kiln. A gasket cover is interchangeable with the removable stack to fit over the opening formed in the top portion to form a substantially airtight seal over the opening formed in the top portion when a burn is complete in the portable biochar kiln to self-extinguish embers in the portable biochar kiln.
SELF-POWERED GRAPPLER ASSEMBLY
A grappler assembly having an assembly framework and a grappler device that is supported by the assembly framework. The grappler device has at least one pair of grappler arms that engages with a desired section of a tree to be removed. The grappler assembly incorporating its own independent power module for supplying hydraulic power to the grappler device and controlling operation of the at least one pair of grappler arms, and the power module is mounted solely to the assembly framework.
Post handling tool adaptable for mounting on a skid steer device
A post handling tool is adaptable for mounting on a skid steer device. It utilizes a pair of hydraulic clamps secured to a base having a vertical stabilizing pole perpendicularly secured to the base.
