COMPONENT LIFTS HAVING SUPPORT ASSEMBLIES
A support assembly including a coupler, a first arm having a proximate end movably coupled to the coupler, a distal end opposite the proximate end, and a second arm having a proximate end movably coupled to the coupler, a distal end opposite the proximate end. The support assembly is movable between a disengaged position and an engaged position. When moving from the disengaged position to the engaged position, the distal end of the first arm and the distal end of the second arm move toward each other.
Grapple for Formwork Panels
A grapple for formwork panels includes a scissor arm assembly extending along a longitudinal axis and including at least a proximate pair of arms and a distal pair of arms. The scissor arm assembly is movable between an open position, wherein the distal ends of the distal pair of arms are distanced, and a closed position, wherein the distal ends of the distal pair of arms are in proximity. The grapple further includes a mounting bracket pivotably receiving the proximate pair of arms at the proximate end thereof and a pair of jaw members, each secured to a respective one of the distal pair of arms at the distal ends thereof. Each jaw member has a contact portion, with teeth extending from the contact portion, and having a tip slanted towards the proximate pair of arms, and a deflector guide extending from the contact portion both longitudinally in a direction away from the proximate pair of arms and laterally away from the other jaw member.
Method and Apparatus For Information exchange Over a Web Based Environment
Video sharing is an important part of information exchanging between people in business and in daily personal life. Video sharing between two or more user devices through a server on the Internet usually will consume tremendous network bandwidth. With the supporting of posting and un-posting operations and the dynamic workspace technology introduced in this invention, a server here can centrally coordinate the dynamic secure video sharing between two or more devices while avoiding itself being a bottleneck for the video sharing.
Claw device
The present invention relates generally to a claw device for installing, removing, and repairing a manhole assembly. Claw device may include a base assembly and two or more arm assemblies. The arm assemblies may be configured to pivot in response to movement of a slide along an axis of a shaft extending upwardly from base assembly. In particular, when a lifting force is applied to the slide, one or more grip pads of arm assemblies may be configured to move inwardly toward the shaft and frictionally grip a surface of the manhole assembly. In one aspect, at least one arm assembly includes an extending member having a plurality of positions for adjusting the length of at least one arm assembly. Advantageously, claw device may be adjusted to accommodate for manhole assemblies of different diameters or other objects having various shapes and sizes.
LIFTING HOOK
A lifting hook including a fixed portion and a moving portion coupled to the fixed portion, the moving portion being pivotable between a locking position in which the moving portion retains a profile of a formwork panel housed in a housing of the fixed portion, and a release position in which the profile of the formwork panel can be introduced into or extracted from the housing. The lifting hook also includes a pushing part coupled to the fixed portion which pushes the moving portion when the pushing part is pulled.
Vertical automatic addition tong apparatus
An electrode lifting apparatus provides a mechanism for lifting a free electrode in a vertical orientation and moving the free electrode suspended below the lifting apparatus to a location for a joining procedure with another electrode or portion of an electrode. The electrode lifting apparatus also supports the free electrode during a joining procedure that includes driven rotation of the free electrode by an electrode torque station. The electrode lifting apparatus includes a bail and a body, the body having a yoke and a housing. First and second arms on the body connect the housing to the yoke. The body may angularly rotate relative to the relatively fixed bail about a reference vertical axis during driven rotation of the free electrode by the torque station. A threaded stem attached to the bail provides a threaded engagement with the yoke allowing such relative angular rotation in some embodiments.
LIFTING CLAMP
In a lifting clamp, a pair of opposite pieces are provided to a main body, wherein the opposite pieces are opposed to form a gripping space where an object to be transported can be gripped. Contact units to contact the object to be transported are provided on the respective gripping space sides of the opposite pieces. A handle is attached to the main body to be rotatable relative to a spindle that is disposed along a gripping direction shown by a dot-dashed line. A conversion unit that converts a rotational movement by turning of the handle into gripping movement to push the contact unit to the gripping side is disposed between the contact unitand the opposite piece. The contact unitis attached to a spindle that supports the handleon one side, and the size of the gripping space can be changed by sliding the spindle with respect to the opposite piece.
LIFTING CLAMP
A scissor-type lifting clamp has two locking clutches, one on each side of a central plane separating hoisting arms of the clamp, for automatically locking the clamp in an opened configuration. The use of two locking clutches reduces the overall vertical distance through which the scissor arms need to travel in order to lock the scissor arms in the opened configuration once an object gripped by the clamp is delivered by the clamp, thereby permitting the use of the clamp with a smaller vehicle, such as a skid steer. A height adjustable outrigger oriented to engage a top of the object to be clamped cooperates with the two locking clutches to further reduce required overall vertical travel distance of the clamp to lock the clamp in the opened configuration.
Pipelayer machine with symmetrical winches
A pipelayer machine is provided. The pipelayer machine has a main body, a boom pivotally connected to a first side of the main body, a hook winch provided on the first side of the main body and a boom winch provided on the second side of the main body. The boom winch and the hook winch can be connected to a structural assembly that positions the boom winch proximate the second side of the main body and positions the hook winch proximate the first side of the main body of the pipelayer machine. The hook winch can be provided in a hook winch frame and the hook winch frame can form a structural member in the structural assembly.
Clamping device for lifting and transfer objects
A clamping device for lifting and transferring objects can employ slanting interfaces to convert a pulling action on the clamping device to a clamping action on the object. A pulling element in the form of a triangle can be disposed between a jaw and a jaw support of the clamping device. When the pulling element is pulled up, the base of the triangle shape pulling element can exert a force on the jaw against the jaw support, for securing a gripping action on the object.
