An arm-type assistance device includes a pillar, a first support portion, a first arm, a second support portion, a second arm, a third arm, an operating unit, and a cargo holding unit. The first arm includes a first member, a first air cylinder, and a second member. The first support portion, the first member, the second support portion, and the second member form a parallel linkage. The parallel linkage is assisted by the first air cylinder. The arm-type assistance device further includes a controller that is configured to control pressure of first air cylinder. The third arm includes a second air cylinder. The controller controls pressure of the second air cylinder. A dimension in an axial direction of the second arm is greater than a dimension in an axial direction of the first arm.

CRANE HOOK ROTATION-LIMITING DEVICE
20230091455 · 2023-03-23 ·

A crane hook rotation-limiting device includes a mounting base and a plunger extending through a hole formed in the mounting base so as to be movable with respect to the mounting base. A spring first bearing portion is connected to the plunger so as to be movable with the plunger. A spring second bearing portion is positioned opposite the spring first bearing portion so as to be fixed with respect to the plunger during movement of the plunger. A spring member extends between the spring first bearing portion and the spring second bearing portion. A pair of crane hook rotation-limiting devices as described herein may be mounted to a crane hook assembly to control rotation of the crane hook during movement of the hook when the hook supports a sling spreader or a sling spreader and a die (or other item of tooling).

Pneumatically adjustable lifting apparatus

A pneumatically adjustable lifting apparatus utilizes inflatable spring devices for lifting and precisely positioning a load at a desired location. Variations in the forces produced by the load cause the inflatable spring devices to expand or compress thereby allowing soft mating between components that need to be connected together, such as assembling or disassembling large threaded connections. Pneumatic pressure in the inflatable spring devices may be adjusted depending upon the particular load. The pneumatically adjustable lifting apparatus provides lightly damped vertical travel with a substantially linear force profile over a relatively wide displacement range. Recirculating linear ball bearings cooperate with the linear loading characteristics of the inflatable spring devices to minimize the vertical motion damping of the pneumatically adjustable lifting apparatus.

CABLE ROBOT POSITIONING SYSTEM UTILIZING A LIGHT BEAM MEASUREMENT DEVICE
20230139810 · 2023-05-04 ·

A light-based measurement system is capable of directing a light beam to a cooperative target used in conjunction with a cable robot to accurately control the position of the end effector within a large volume working environment defined by a single coordinate system. By measuring the end effector while the device is in operation, the cable robot control system can be adjusted in real time to correct for errors that are introduced through the design of the robot itself providing accuracy in the tens or hundreds of micron range. A coordination processor runs control software that communicates with both the laser tracker and the cable robot. An action plan file is loaded by the software that defines the coordinate system of the working volume, the locations where actions need to be performed by the cable robot, and the actions to be taken.

Rescue hoist end-effector

An end-effector for a hoist includes a drive and an articulating arm. The articulating arm includes support disks, control cables extending through the support disks, and a hoist cable extending through the support disks. The drive includes an actuator connected to one of the control cables. The actuator deploys and retracts the control cables, thereby displacing the articulating arm from an end-effector axis. The drive also includes a stabilizer mounted on a drive housing, the stabilizer generates a stabilizing moment in response to the articulating arm displacing from the end-effector axis.

System and method for automatically regulating tensions of guide ropes of flexible cable suspension platform

A system and a method for automatically regulating the tensions of the guide ropes of a flexible cable suspension platform. The system includes a guide rope regulator mounted on a flexible cable suspension platform, a hydraulic pump station arranged on the flexible cable suspension platform, and a hydraulic system associated to the hydraulic pump station. The guide rope regulator automatically regulates the tensions of the guide ropes to enable the tensions of all the guide ropes to be consistent, so as to further ensure that the flexible cable suspension platform is in a level condition. The guide rope regulator also can measure the tension states of the guide ropes conveniently so as to ensure that the guide ropes have enough tensions to efficiently limit the swing amplitude of a lilting container. The system is simple, and convenient to operate, and has a good automatic regulating effect.
