Container spreader for linking a container with a hoisting installation
A container spreader for coupling a container with a hoisting installation has a number of assemblies of a guiding plate and a displacing device connected thereto, for displacing the guiding plate between an active position A and an inactive position B. The displacement device has a hydraulic swivel motor provided with an output shaft which is connected to the guide plate via connecting elements. A hydraulic unit is coupled to the swivel motor via coupling device for supplying and discharging hydraulic oil from and to the swivel motor. By applying a hydraulic swivel motor, a final transmission can be omitted and no valves are required for keeping the hydraulic motor at pressure. As a result, an energy-efficient and inexpensive assembly has been obtained.

Crane
The invention relates to a crane, in particular a rotary tower crane, comprising a crane boom, from which a load hook can be raised and lowered via a hoist cable, and an electric power supply on the load hook and/or an optionally provided trolley which can be moved on the crane boom. According to the invention, the electric power is directly generated at the location where it is required, and in the process kinetic energy present at said location is converted into power. According to the invention, the electric power supply comprises a generator which is arranged on the load hook and/or on the trolley and which can be driven by a deflecting and/or running pulley and/or a cable running around the deflecting pulley.

Spreader for lifting intermodal container
A spreader for lifting an intermodal transport container includes a main beam extending in a longitudinal direction, the main beam formed of a first, upper C-beam of a relatively thicker material thickness and a second, lower C-beam of a relatively thinner material thickness; and an indicator configured to provide an indication if a distance in a transversal direction between a pair of twist-locks is set in a wide-body position when lowered onto respective lifting castings provided with top openings separated by a transversal distance corresponding to a standard position.

Felling head for a multi-process machine
A multi-process machine suspension device is equipped with two hydraulic cylinders for rotating the machine relative to an arm supporting it. One cylinder is pivoted to another arm and the other cylinder to the machine frame. Both cylinders are pivoted by one end to a freely rotating intermediate arm pivoted to the same frame joint as the arm supporting it.

Enhanced Lift Assist Device
An Enhanced Lift Assist Device is described. The device allows a user to lift and manipulate large, heavy or bulky items by applying force to the item as opposed to traditional control methods such as buttons. This force based system provides ease of movement of the item, making it appear much lighter than it actually is. The Enhanced Lift Assist Device also includes an adjustable base that allows for change of orientation of the device that may include leveling or self-leveling functionality, allowing the device to be operated in non-traditional environments that require leveling or operational adjustments for proper functioning.
