TOWER CRANE FOR ERECTING A WIND TURBINE, AND METHOD FOR ERECTING SAID TOWER CRANE
A rotating tower crane for erecting a wind turbine, having a tower and a tower substructure, which is connected to the tower and is intended for supporting the tower, wherein the tower substructure has a supporting cross frame, which has three or more, preferably four, legs, extending from the tower. It is proposed that each leg has fastened on it, on the ground side, a load-distributor plate, which is not connected to the foundation, wherein the load-distributor plates together form the ballast of the tower.
Underwater towing test device
An underwater towing test device including a driving mechanism, an observation platform disposed under the driving mechanism, a towing member, and a towed body. The driving mechanism includes an operation platform, an extended platform connected to the operation platform, a crane, a first railing, a lifebuoy, a control center, a power distribution room, and a plurality of bus ports. The operation platform includes two rail grooves disposed in parallel and a moon pool provided with two pool slots on both ends thereof. The crane includes a chassis provided with a plurality of first guide rollers. The first railing is positioned along the edge of the operation platform and the extended platform, with the lifebuoy hanging thereon. The control center, the power distribution room, the plurality of bus ports, and the moon pool are fixedly disposed on the operation platform.
GAS TURBINE HAVING A LIFTING MECHANISM
A crane system having a gas turbine that has a manhole on the outer housing thereof, the manhole being designed to open up a maintenance access to hot gas parts of the gas turbine in the open state of the manhole, which is provided with a fastening section; the crane system further has a hoisting mechanism that includes a mating fastening section which is connected to the fastening section of the manhole in such a way that the hoisting mechanism introduces weights that same has to lift into the outer housing of the gas turbine.
Man Overboard Rescue System
A man over board rescue system 100 may comprise a main body 200 with the main body quickly and easily being attached and detached to a ship's bitt. Thus, the system may be quickly set up prior to departing and quickly put away at the end of a voyage. The system allows for the fast and efficient rescue of a person overboard without need for a rescuer to enter the water or to risk bodily injury in retrieving a person in the water. The system provides secure mechanical means allowing for a winch to be used in the support of a person which is a significant departure from the prior art.

Confined-space davit
A confined-space davit, including a vertical, elongate mast provided by at least one annular tube; and, a boom that is pivotally connected to an upper end portion of the mast and that extends forwardly from the mast. The tube comprises a forward wall and an opposing rearward wall and comprises left and right opposing lateral sidewalls that each connect the forward wall to the rearward wall.
PORTABLE LOAD LIFT DEVICE
A load lifting device is provided that includes a cart, a powered winch, and controls. The cart has a base with a plurality of rollers, an upright frame, and a winch arm. The base has a forward end and an aft end. The upright frame has a base end and a distal upper end. The base end of the upright frame is attached to the base proximate the aft end. The winch arm extends out from the upright frame proximate the upper end. The powered winch is controllable to selectively play out or draw in a lift line. The powered winch is attached to the winch arm and is in communication with a source of electrical power. The controls are configured for operating the powered winch to play out or draw in the lift line.
ROTARY TOWER CRANE HAVING A TOWER MAST THAT CONSISTS OF A PLURALITY OF TOWER SECTIONS
The invention relates to a rotary tower crane (10) having a tower mast (2) at the upper end of which a jib (8) is arranged, at least part of the tower mast being formed by at least three parallel tower sections (7) arranged next to one another.
Jib crane with tension frame and compression support
A jib crane assembly having a vertical pole and a boom for lifting a load. The pole has a length and cylindrical outer surface. A pivot structure is arranged at an upper segment of the pole such that the boom is rotatably secured at a pivot point, thereby dividing the boom into first and second portions. A compression support extends from the first portion of the boom to a compression roller engagement assembly, and a tension roller engagement assembly is secured to the second portion of the boom, opposite the compression roller assembly. The tension roller assembly is attached to a tension frame, wherein said compression support, compression roller assembly, tension frame, and second portion of the boom provide structural support and counter-balance when lifting the load, and the pivot structure and roller assemblies facilitate rotation of the load around the pole.
