Limited rotation slewing ring crane
A limited rotation slewing ring crane may include a pedestal, a column rotatively coupled, about a first rotation axis, to the pedestal by a slewing ring rotative coupling, and stops for limiting the relative rotation of the column with respect to the pedestal. The crane may also include a rotative sensor adapted to measure a rotation angle of the column with respect to the pedestal. The rotation sensor may include a tubular body axially extending from the base of the column, a stationary body connected to the pedestal and a wheel. A second rotation axis of the wheel may be offset with respect to a first rotation axis of the column with respect to the pedestal.
Portable crane formed of composite members
A portable gantry crane formed of composite members includes a composite material I-beam. Two or more support members are formed of a composite material and each support member supports the I-beam when the portable gantry crane is in an upright position. Two or more end housings are included, each end housing enclosing a top end of one of the two or more support members and coupled thereto using adhesive. A plurality of latch structures are coupled with the I-beam, each latch structure including a latch, and each end housing having a latch receiver, each latch in combination with a latch receiver allowing one of the latch structures to be releasably fixedly coupled with an end housing. In implementations a plurality of latch structures are coupled with the I-beam, each latch structure having a latch structure enclosure and each latch structure enclosure at least partially enclosing one of the end housings.
LIMITED ROTATION SLEWING RING CRANE
A limited rotation slewing ring crane comprises: a pedestal, a column rotatively coupled, about a first rotation axis, to the pedestal by a slewing ring rotative coupling, and means for limiting the relative rotation of the column with respect to the pedestal. The crane further comprises a rotative sensor adapted to measure a rotation angle of the column with respect to the pedestal, wherein said rotation sensor comprises: a tubular body axially extending from the base of the column and rotatively integral with the same; a stationary body connected to the pedestal and a wheel, rotatable with respect to the stationary body about a second rotation axis, which is meshed by the tubular body, wherein the second rotation axis of the wheel with respect to the stationary body is offset with respect to the first rotation axis of the column with respect to the pedestal; means for sensing the angular position of the wheel with respect to the stationary body.
Gantry system for replacing full trackside girders under the station platform and installing precast platform panels
A gantry system has at least one crane assembly, at least one support post, and at least one hoist. The crane assembly has a stationary base, a rotating base, and a crane arm. The rotating base is attached to both the stationary base and the crane arm in such a ways as to allow the rotating base and the crane arm to rotate while the stationary base remains stationary. The crane arm is supported on its far end by a support post. The crane assembly is configured such that the support post rests on an in-place girder. A hoist is attached and can move along the crane arm to position a railway component, such as a replacement girder and/or a precast panel.
Loader with boom swing control system
The invention provides a loader having a boom, a hydraulic motor, a slewing ring, and a boom swing control assembly. The boom is configured to rotate in response to operation of the hydraulic motor. The boom swing control assembly comprises a control gear, a first valve, and a first hydraulic line. The control gear is engaged with a slew gear of the slewing ring such that the control gear rotates in response to rotation of the boom. The hydraulic line is in fluid communication with the first valve and the hydraulic motor. Depending on whether the first valve is in an open or a closed configuration, hydraulic fluid is either free to pass, or is restrained from passing, through the first hydraulic line to the hydraulic motor.
PINATA HOLDING DEVICE
The present invention generally relates to the field of games and game accessories. Specifically, the invention relates to a piata holding apparatus with an adjustable upright support and arm assembly capable of adjusting the configuration of the device, as desired by a user.
