Load assembly and method for lifting a load into an aircraft
A load assembly for use with an aircraft includes a support sub-assembly and a lifting sub-assembly. The support sub-assembly is configured for removable coupling to a structural member of the aircraft. The structural member has a first interior position and a second interior position. The support sub-assembly extends between the first interior position and the second interior position. The lifting sub-assembly is movably coupled to the support sub-assembly. The lifting sub-assembly is movable along the support sub-assembly between the first interior position and the second interior position and configured to lift or lower a load, and to support the load as the lifting sub-assembly moves along the support sub-assembly between the first interior position and the second interior position.

OVERHEAD RAIL ATTACHMENT
A rail attachment for supporting a support rail includes two rail brackets engaging with and securing the support rail therebetween, a connector securing the two rail brackets to one another and including an attachment unit suspending the rail brackets and support rail, each the rail bracket including a support section engaging and secured to the support rail and each bracket further including a first connection section extending over the support rail, an intermediate region and a distal region whereby the distal region is spaced from the support section by the intermediate section and wherein the distal region is of a greater length than the intermediate region as considered in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the intermediate region spaces the distal region from the support section, and the connector including a second connection section securing the distal regions of the rail engagement brackets relative to one another.

Articulating rail for multidirectional movement of suspended load
A rail fixture that may include a plurality of track sections suspending a plurality of rail sections. The rail fixture may further include a traveler that traverses across one of the track sections, and a trolley that traverses across the plurality of rail sections. The rail fixture may further include a motorized winch assembly that may be used to lift a load to be moved toward the rail sections. The rail fixture may be used to move a load from a first location to a second location, for example, through an enclosed space having little clearance.
