COMPONENT LIFTS HAVING SUPPORT ASSEMBLIES
A support assembly including a coupler, a first arm having a proximate end movably coupled to the coupler, a distal end opposite the proximate end, and a second arm having a proximate end movably coupled to the coupler, a distal end opposite the proximate end. The support assembly is movable between a disengaged position and an engaged position. When moving from the disengaged position to the engaged position, the distal end of the first arm and the distal end of the second arm move toward each other.
Chain hoist with integral load cell
A load cell includes a bearing element configured for a hoist that includes a hook, a suspension with an orifice that receives a shaft of the hook, a nut, and housing. The bearing element, preferably a ring, contacts the suspension, and has an orifice that receives the shaft therethrough with the nut secured to the shaft proximate to the bearing element. Strain gauges are mounted on the ring side wall being equally spaced. A second suspension orifice concentric with the first orifice receives the ring with strain gauges therein. For improved accuracy, a thrust roller bearing and two thrust washers are positioned on sides of the ring, all of which are preferably positioned in a cup member that is received in the second orifice. A clearance fit is provided with respect to each of protruding upper and lower overhanging cylindrical ring lips and the cup to protect the gauges.

Electric well service rig with speed limiter
A method for limiting the speed of a hoist mounted to a mobile well service rig involves determining a safe speed limit that ensures the hoist's capable stopping time is less than the maximum allowed time for stopping. In some examples, the maximum allowed time for stopping is based on the wellstring's modulus of elasticity and independent of the hoist's braking characteristics. The capable stopping time, however, is independent of the wellstring's modulus of elasticity and dependent on the hoist's braking characteristics.

NET LOADING HANGER WITH FUNCTIONAL HOOKS
A lift system for a baler implement includes a hanger including a hanger body defining a first aperture and a second aperture. The first aperture is positioned such that a center of gravity of the hanger body is located within the first aperture. The second aperture is positioned vertically below the first aperture. A lift line includes an upper end portion secured to a line actuator, and a lower end portion supporting the hanger. The lower end portion of the lift line is routed through the first aperture and the second aperture and is secured relative to the hanger such that the lift line applies a lift force to the hanger body at the center of gravity of the hanger body. The hanger includes a first pocket and a second pocket at respective ends of the hanger body shaped to capture respective lifting bands on a roll of wrap material.

Hoisting assembly
A hoisting assembly for lifting a load into an attic or lowering a load therefrom includes a hoist. The hoist comprises a housing, which has a drum or a lift wheel engaged thereto and positioned in an interior space defined thereby. A suspension module is engaged to and extends from an upper end of the housing. The suspension module can selectively engage a beam so that the housing is suspended from and removably engaged to the beam. A lifting medium is operationally engaged to the drum or the lift wheel and extends from a lower end of the housing. A connector is engaged to the lifting medium distal from the housing. The connector can selectively engage a load so that the load is removably engaged to the lifting medium. The hoist thus is configured to lift the load.

Chain link adapter
A system for providing safety to a hoist having a hook and a chain. The system includes a safety cable threaded through an opening of the hook or an object to be lifted. The system includes a connector connected to the safety cable and the chain such that when the hook and the chain of the hoist are disconnected, the object remains connected to the chain via the connector and safety cable. The connector includes a base portion having a chain opening configured to receive the chain, and a first cable opening configured to receive the safety cable. The connector includes a top portion configured to be coupled to the base portion and cover a portion of the chain opening such that the base portion and the top portion, when coupled together, remain at a substantially fixed position along the length of the chain.
