Modular boost system for a jack

A modular boost system can be added to a jack to enable greater lift capacity of the jack. One example can involve a jack that is positionable at a well surface for moving a tubing string through a wellbore in a subterranean formation. The jack can include a frame and an adjustable plate that is alternately (i) attachable at a stationary location in the frame for fixing the adjustable plate at the stationary location or (ii) detachable from the stationary location in the frame to enable the adjustable plate to vertically move within the frame. A boost cylinder can be removably coupled to the adjustable plate and a base for selectively supplying an additional lift capability to the jack.

System with securing frame

A system includes a platform having an upper surface and defining a recess having a floor, the recess configured to seat a dish, and a movable securing frame that is movably connected with the platform, the frame including a lift support having an upper surface that is movable along a path from a first location that is beneath the floor of the recess, through the recess, to a second location that is coplanar with the upper surface of the platform. A motor configured to cause oscillation of the platform and the movable securing frame can be used. A method of using the system can include placing a dish above a recess defined by an upper surface of a platform, and lowering the frame with respect to the platform, thereby seating the dish within the recess.

Telescoping jack for lifting large capacity trucks

A jack, comprising: a top plate adapted to contact a load; a base plate positioned below the top plate; at least one actuator coupled perpendicularly between the base plate and the top plate; wherein the at least one actuator is operable to move the top plate between a lowered position and a raised position to thereby lower and raise the load; and, at least one locking assembly adapted to lock the top plate in the raised position.

VEHICLE LIFT SYSTEM WITH FEATURE SIMPLIFICATION

A vehicle lift comprising a base, a carriage configured to receive a portion of a vehicle, and an actuator configured to vertically raise and lower the carriage relative to the base. The vehicle lift is configured to send and receive wireless signals. The vehicle lift further comprises a processor configured to (i) control the actuator, and (ii) process the wireless signals.

According to some embodiments, a vehicle restoration system comprises a first base unit, a second base unit, a third base unit, and at least a fourth base unit, an adjustment member positioned at each base unit, the adjustment member being configured to support a surface of a vehicle along an upper end of the adjustment member, the jack being configured to selectively change a vertical position of the upper end of the adjustment member, a first side member coupling the first base unit to the second base unit, a second side member coupling the third base unit to the fourth base unit, a first strut coupling the first base unit to the third base unit, and a second strut coupling the second base unit to the fourth base unit.

DRILLING RIG AND METHOD OF USE

An improved system and method for bracing, transporting, assembling, and disassembly of drilling equipment at oil and gas land-based well sites. The system has a substructure with side boxes support bracing that are in a scissor jack (or grand plié) style bracing with telescoping tension link(s), linking pins, and vertical hydraulic cylinders. These linking pins are set after raising the substructure and secure the telescoping tension link, support arms, and support bracing in place to maintain the integrity of the substructure. Alternatively the system has a substructure with side boxes support bracing that are in a scissor jack (or grand plié) style bracing with screw jacks and a means of stabilization during substructure raising. The substructure bracing reduces the overall length, reduces the upper and lower box spans, and balances the raising loads, subsequently lowering the transport weight of the side box such that a commercial walking system may be integrated into the side box and remain there during transport while maximizing the operating drill floor height while minimizing the transport height.

System for vehicle lift monitoring and prognostics

A vehicle lift system includes a plurality of mobile lift columns each including a wireless communication system for sending and receiving wireless signals, each of the plurality of mobile lift columns further including an inclinometer for detecting an amount of tilt of the plurality of mobile lift columns. A remote control unit includes a wireless communication system capable of transmitting wireless control signals to the plurality of mobile lift columns. A control unit is associated with the plurality of lift columns for controlling operation of the plurality of lift columns, the control unit further receiving a signal indicative of the amount of tilt of the plurality of mobile lift columns and providing a warning signal if any mobile lift column has an amount of tilt exceeding a predetermined amount.

The independent hydraulic jack system uses four independent jacks strategically mounted on the four corners of the bottom of a vehicle. Each of the jacks is connected via hydraulic hoses to a central hydraulic pump, also mountable on the bottom of the vehicle. The hydraulic pump can raise or lower any of the four jacks without affecting the other three. This hydraulic pump is controlled by a user-operated remote control whereby the user can directly adjust the height of the four jacks. The control also has a locking feature whereby the jacks will not alter their height until the control is unlocked. As a safety precaution, the pump cannot be utilized unless the vehicle brakes are applied.
