Vehicle storage area lift assembly
A lift assembly for a utility vehicle storage area includes a floor supported by a scissor mechanism, an actuator for raising the scissor mechanism and the floor from a neutral position to an elevated position, a plurality of rollers attached to the floor, guide members attached to the scissor mechanism and within which the plurality of rollers move, and a detent protruding into one of the guide members to resist rotation of at least one of the plurality of rollers and create a pivot point about which the floor rotates to a pivoted position. The floor may be rotated to the pivoted position from the neutral position, the elevated position, or any position between the neutral and elevated positions. In addition, the floor may be removed from the assembly by passing the first and second pairs of rollers through the cutouts in the guide members.
ROBOTIC UNDER-SURFACE LOADER
A robotic under surface loader includes a mobility platform, a parallel manipulator, and a cradle. The mobility platform enables the robotic under surface loader to be moved into place beneath a downwardly facing surface to which a payload is to be attached. The parallel manipulator, which is carried by the mobility platform, carries the cradle, which may in turn carry a payload. The parallel manipulator may position the cradle in six degrees-of-freedom and, thus, precisely position a payload carried by the cradle in a location and an orientation that will facilitate its interaction with (e.g., attachment to, etc.) the downwardly facing surface. Methods for attaching objects, including large, heaving objects, to downwardly facing surfaces are also disclosed.
A COMBINED LIFT AND TILT SYSTEM AND A WHEEL CHAIR WITH A BUILT-IN SEAT HOIST COMPRISING SUCH A SYSTEM
A combined lift and tilt system including a lower frame, an upper frame, a first lever arm rotatably connected to the lower frame, and a second lever arm rotatably connected to the first lever arm and to the upper frame and in sliding engagement with the lower frame. The system further including a first linear power source rotatably connected to the lower frame and to the first lever arm, and a second linear power source rotatably connected to the upper frame and to the second lever arm.
Tilting scissor-lift for vehicles
A parking lift for vehicles. The parking lift includes a platform on which a vehicle can be parked and lifted by a pair of scissor-lifts configured to raise and lower the platform to enable parking of a second vehicle beneath the platform. A deck of the platform is provided with a gradual slope throughout its length to enable vehicles with low ground clearance to travel onto the platform without contacting an underside of the vehicle with the deck. Each of the scissor-lifts includes short leg and a long leg that is longer than the short leg. Upon actuation between lowered and raised positions, the legs raise an entry end of the platform a greater vertical distance than an opposite terminal end. The platform is thus tilted upward to place a deck thereof in a substantially level or downwardly sloping orientation from the entry end toward the terminal end.
MOBILE LIFT TABLE
A lift table includes a base member, an air powered hydraulic powerpack assembly mounted to the base member, a tabletop, a lift assembly capable of actuated the tabletop relative to the base member, a handle extending upward from the base member, and an air supply docking station. The lift assembly includes a hydraulic cylinder assembly actuated by the air powered hydraulic powerpack. The handle includes a top potion of the handle elevated above the air-powered hydraulic powerpack. The air supply docking station is fixed to the top portion of the handle and is in fluid communication with the air-powered hydraulic powerpack assembly.
Vehicle loading system
A loading/unloading system for an associated truck bed includes first and second laterally spaced rails configured for re) receipt in the associated truck bed. First and second support leg assemblies are operatively associated with the first and second rails, respectively. First and second motors are received on the first and second leg assemblies, respectively, and are configured to selectively raise and lower the first and second rails. A sensor assembly is mounted on the rails to monitor the position of the first rail relative to the second rail. The sensor assembly is interconnected to the first and second motors for maintaining the rails at the same height relative to one another.
Movable base and method for transporting equipment
The invention relates to a movable base for transporting equipment by land, in particular aeronautical equipment. The movable base comprises a frame including two side arms designed to move parallel to one another and means for rolling on the ground, which are connected to the frame. Each side arm comprises lifting means designed to move the equipment vertically and to tilt same between the side arms.
An Article Handling System
An article handling system for a naval surface warfare vessel/ship comprises a lower frame and an upper frame interconnected by a plurality of scissor lift linkages. A plurality of drive units are configured to translate an article mounted article bed in an upward and a downward, a forward and a rearward, and a tilting translational degrees of freedom. Each of said drive units are configured to switch said article handling system from a retracted position to an extended operating position. The article handling system may be controlled manually or by a control unit or a handheld controller.
TRUCK LOADING SYSTEM
A loading/unloading system for an associated truck bed includes first and second laterally spaced rails configured for re) receipt in the associated truck bed. First and second support leg assemblies are operatively associated with the first and second rails, respectively. First and second motors are received on the first and second leg assemblies, respectively, and are configured to selectively raise and lower the first and second rails. A sensor assembly is mounted on the rails to monitor the position of the first rail relative to the second rail. The sensor assembly is interconnected to the first and second motors for maintaining the rails at the same height relative to one another.
Lift and tilt support apparatus
A lift and tilt support apparatus includes opposed scissor lift assemblies. Each scissor lift assembly includes a base, an upper frame, and scissored first and second legs, each having opposed top and bottom ends. The bottom end of the first leg is pivoted to the base, and the top end of the first leg is mounted to the upper frame for reciprocal movement. The top end of the second leg is pivoted to the upper frame, and the bottom end of the second leg is mounted to the base for reciprocal movement. The top end of the first leg reciprocates in a direction skewed from the top end of the second leg. The bottom end of the second leg reciprocates in a direction skewed from the bottom end of the first leg.
