Device for use in lifting, transporting and installing sheet material
A device for use in lifting, transporting and installing sheet material has a base, wheels on which the base is supported, a mast that extends upwardly from the base, a carriage that is in engagement with the mast, a supporting head that is mounted to the carriage, and a lifting mechanism to provide support to the carriage in the longitudinal direction of the mast. The wheels include rear wheels that are connected to the rear of the base in a manner that permits steering of the device during movement across a surface, and a front wheel set that is connected to the front of the base. The front wheel set includes a wheel to each side of the device, and the wheels of the front wheel set are rotatable about a common axis. The connection of the mast to the base is such that the mast is rotatable relative to the base about a rotational axis. The device further has an actuator that is operable to change the angular position of the mast relative to the base. The supporting head is configured to support sheet material above the surface.
HAND LIFT DEVICE
According to an embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a hand lift device including: a frame portion including a vertical frame, a first sprocket installed on an upper end of the vertical frame, and a second sprocket installed on a lower end of the vertical frame; a chain installed to engage with the first sprocket and the second sprocket; a cargo loading unit which is connected with the chain and disposed to be liftable along the vertical frame to load cargo; a power transmission portion which provides a driving force to the chain so that the cargo loading unit is lifted up and down; a sensor portion which is installed in an area where the frame portion is formed to be positioned at an upper side in a range where the cargo loading unit is lifted up and down and includes a proximity sensor to sense the cargo loaded on the cargo loading unit; and a controller which controls lifting up and down of the cargo loading unit by adjusting the driving of the power transmission portion according to a sensing signal from the sensor portion.
According to the embodiment of the present invention, since the operator can automatically load the cargo by controlling through the cargo loading unit without manually loading the cargo, the hand lift device can operate faster than manual operation, load more cargo over the same time, and operate with a small number of persons, thereby reducing the cost.
CARRYING APPARATUS
A swivel base is provided on a trolley so as to be able to swivel around a vertical axis, and a fork can be slid in a horizontal direction between an advanced position and a retracted position by a sliding mechanism capable of moving up and down along a pillar erected on the swivel base. Thus, it is possible to realize a configuration in which an empty-box skid is loaded in one direction and unloaded in another direction by means of the swiveling swivel base, without employing a configuration in which a plurality of members is supported so as to be able to swivel around different vertical axes. A movable range of the sliding mechanism (a movable range of the fork) in a vertical direction is therefore not significantly limited, and a transfer position of the empty-box skid in the vertical direction can be set to a lower position.

Systems, devices, and methods for inventory management of carpet rolls in a warehouse
A system for managing an inventory of carpet rolls within a warehouse includes one or more autonomous lift trucks, a database configured to store location information for a plurality of carpet rolls in the warehouse, a server in electronic communication with the database, and a system manager configured to send one or more instructions to the one or more lift trucks. The one or more autonomous lift trucks include a frame, a mast attached to the frame, a pole fixedly mounted on the mast, the pole being configured for insertion within a core of a carpet roll for transport of the carpet roll, a plurality of imaging devices mounted on each lift truck in a displaceable manner, at least one navigation sensor, at least one safety sensor, at least one emergency stop, and at least three wheels.
Solar panel direct-motion installation apparatus
Apparatus for installing a solar panel array in parallel rows on panel support structure, as for solar farms, including a lift-and-place vehicle with characterizing features for moving between and along rows of support structure. Such vehicle includes a driven ground-engaging base, a lifting mast extending upwardly and in a fore/aft direction to define a panel-loading space therebeneath, a liftable trolley beam secured to the mast over the panel-loading space and extending laterally between adjacent rows, a traversing trolley movable along the beam, and a panel-placing carrier suspended from the trolley for up/down and lateral movement of carried panels. A panel-pallet vehicle is hitched to the lift-and-place vehicle, extends under the panel-loading space, and has a pallet carrier adjacent to the panel-loading space. Preferred embodiments include telescoping, tilting and angle adjustment of the mast, and the panel-placing carrier has panel supports movable between panel supporting and releasing orientations, and wireless control.
