A vented funnel having a fluid flow stop configured to provide even fluid flow or to maximize fluid flow. The vented funnel with fluid flow stop may include an inner funnel member and an outer vented funnel member. The outer vented funnel member may have one or more venting portions or configurations configured to provide a mechanism for allowing trapped air within the vented funnel to be expelled.

An addition system for introducing particulate material into an industrial process is disclosed. The addition system comprises a vessel for holding the particulate material, a weighing device, piping, a controller, and a frame to support the piping. The piping comprises a first valve for transferring the particulate material to the industrial process, and a second valve for transferring a first stream of pressurized gas from a source of pressurized gas to the vessel. The vessel comprises a filling nozzle located on the top of the vessel.

An addition system for introducing particulate material into an industrial process is disclosed. The addition system comprises a vessel for holding the particulate material, a weighing device, piping, a controller, and a frame to support the piping. The piping comprises a first valve for transferring the particulate material to the industrial process, and a second valve for transferring a first stream of pressurized gas from a source of pressurized gas to the vessel. The vessel comprises a filling nozzle located on the top of the vessel.

A bucket funnel has a funnel body which clips onto a bucket with a top flange. The funnel body has a semicircular lower edge which has about the same radius of curvature as the bucket, but only extends about halfway around. There are outer tabs with inward facing channels at the ends of the lower edge of the funnel body to clip into the flange of the bucket. There is also a spring loaded release clip at about the middle of the lower edge to clip onto the outer flange of the bucket. An inner apron extends down from the lower edge of the funnel body to form a seal against the inner wall of the bucket. An interchangeable conical nozzle attaches to the funnel body for dispensing of fluids of various viscosities, such as glue, paint or fresh concrete.

A gathering and dispensing scoop with agitating gate valve provides a scoop body defining an upper opening, a bottom opening, and a channel extending therebetween. A handle extends radially from an outer peripheral surface of the scoop body. A gate valve transects the channel and has a user operable finger tab adjacent to the handle for a user to move the gate valve from a first position transecting the channel and obstructing the bottom opening to a second position wherein the gate valve no longer obstructs the channel and opens the bottom opening.

A gathering and dispensing scoop with agitating gate valve provides a scoop body defining an upper opening, a bottom opening, and a channel extending therebetween. A handle extends radially from an outer peripheral surface of the scoop body. A gate valve transects the channel and has a user operable finger tab adjacent to the handle for a user to move the gate valve from a first position transecting the channel and obstructing the bottom opening to a second position wherein the gate valve no longer obstructs the channel and opens the bottom opening.

A vented funnel having a fluid flow stop configured to provide even fluid flow or to maximize fluid flow. A funnel assembly comprising a funnel, a fill tube, a valve, and tube storage structure. The funnel includes an outer wall defining a fill chamber and including alignment structure. The tube storage structure includes an upper holder positioned near the upper opening and left and right guides spaced below the upper holder. The alignment structure is configured to align with and accept a stored tube of another funnel assembly when the funnel assemblies are stacked together. The fill tube is configured to be fluidly connected to the funnel. The tube storage structure is configured to removably secure the fill tube to the funnel when the upper end of the fill tube is not fluidly connected to the funnel so that the fill tube substantially conforms to the convex, tapered outer wall.

A funnel assembly comprising a funnel, a fill tube, a valve, and tube storage structure. The funnel includes an outer wall defining a fill chamber and including alignment structure. The tube storage structure includes an upper holder positioned near the upper opening and left and right guides spaced below the upper holder. The alignment structure is configured to align with and accept a stored tube of another funnel assembly when the funnel assemblies are stacked together. The fill tube is configured to be fluidly connected to the funnel. The tube storage structure is configured to removably secure the fill tube to the funnel when the upper end of the fill tube is not fluidly connected to the funnel so that the fill tube substantially conforms to the convex, tapered outer wall.

A dispensing apparatus for dispensing a material, comprising: a removable container for holding the material; a receptacle for receiving the material, the receptacle comprising a top opening and a flange; a funnel for receiving the material from the removable container and guiding the material to the receptacle, the funnel comprising a valve holder at a lower end of the funnel and a lower opening aligned with the top opening of the receptacle; a valve member slidably coupled to the valve holder, the valve member comprising a valve aperture; a valve lever connected to the valve member, wherein when activated, the valve lever is configured to move the valve member to cause the valve aperture to align with the lower opening of the funnel, allowing the material to flow down from the funnel to the receptacle until the receptacle is filled to the top opening; a lever assembly coupled to the valve lever, wherein the lever assembly is configured to be activated by an operator inserting the flange of the receptacle into the lever assembly, and when activated, the lever assembly is configured to activate the valve lever; and a gap separating the valve member and the top opening of the receptacle, the gap having a gap width greater than zero and less than a predetermine value, wherein when the valve lever is activated and the material flows down and fills the receptacle to the top opening, the material further fills the gap, causing the material to stop flowing down.
