A scooping and dispensing device for efficiently storing, measuring, transferring, mixing, and/or dispensing materials such as powders. The scooping and dispensing device generally includes a funnel and a cover rotatably connected within the funnel. The cover is adapted to be rotated between a plurality of rotational positions with respect to the funnel. A handle may be grasped and rotated; with the handle being connected to the cover such that both the handle and cover rotate together. The cover may thus be rotated to an inverted position to form a chamber to store or mix one or more materials. A cap is removably connected to the lower opening of the funnel; with the cap being removed from the lower opening to dispense the material(s) out of the funnel.

An apparatus for collecting and storing fluid samples from vehicles and machinery comprises a storage container having a fluid inlet sealed by a cap, the cap having an aperture releasably sealed by a lid. An adapter connects the cap releasably to a fluid outlet coupling port of a fluid sampling device. The adapter comprises a lumen, having an inlet and an outlet aperture, an external screw thread engageable with an internal screw thread of the coupling port and a connector assembly for connecting the adapter releasably to the cap. A penetrable diaphragm provides an airtight seal over a storage region of the storage container. When the adapter is connected to the coupling port and the cap is connected to the adapter, a fluid outlet tube extending from the coupling port extends through the aperture and protrudes through one or more perforations provided in the penetrable diaphragm into the storage region.

A surface cleaning apparatus having a housing, a suction nozzle, a suction source, a steam port, a steam supply system, and a flexible seal. The housing having a cleaning foot and an upper housing operably coupled to the cleaning foot. The suction source being fluidly connected to the suction nozzle by a working air conduit. The steam port having an aperture provided in the cleaning foot. The steam supply system having a steam nozzle with at least a portion that projects through the steam port. The flexible seal being provided at least around the steam nozzle.

A vented funnel having a fluid flow stop configured to provide even fluid flow or to maximize fluid flow. The vented funnel with fluid flow stop may include an inner funnel member and an outer vented funnel member. The outer vented funnel member may have one or more venting portions or configurations configured to provide a mechanism for allowing trapped air within the vented funnel to be expelled.

Provided is a liquid collecting device, which comprises a collecting container, wherein the collecting container is provided with a diversion cavity for diverting a body fluid collected; on a wall of the collecting container, at least one jacket cavity configured to store a storage liquid is provided, the jacket cavity is provided around the diversion cavity, and the jacket cavity extends along an axial direction of the diversion cavity, and a cross section of the jacket cavity is annular; and the diversion cavity has an inflow port and an outflow port, and an aperture of the inflow port is larger than that of the outflow port.

A funnel compatible with recreational vehicle fill ports. The funnel including: a) an input section having an inlet portion which is tapered; b) an output section having: i) an outlet portion in fluid communication with the inlet portion and adapted to engage with a fill port; and ii) an adapter portion not in fluid communication with the input section and adapted to engage with a support member.

A low-profile fluid transfer device has an annular base with a top and a bottom, and an annular peripheral wall defining an enclosed interior of the base. A plurality of spaced apart straight ridges are formed within the enclosed interior of the base and define respective flow channels. Each flow channel slopes downward from a first end proximate an inside of the annular peripheral wall towards an open second end away from the annular peripheral wall. A catchment area is located adjacent the open second end of each of the flow channels. A drain hole is formed within the catchment area and extends through the base from the top to the bottom.

An evacuated bottle system including a bottle defining a hollow interior, the bottle having a neck with a rim defining an opening; a cap assembly supported on the bottle, the cap assembly including a funnel having a first portion and a second portion, the first portion being insertable within the interior of the bottle and the second portion engaging a portion of the bottle to support the funnel above the rim, the funnel defining a bore that fluidly communicates with the hollow interior of the bottle; a self-sealing membrane that covers the bore formed by the funnel to selectively seal the hollow interior of the bottle; a cap attachable to the bottle, the cap including a cover portion that extends at least partially over the self-sealing membrane to restrain movement thereof, the cover portion being axially spaced from the self-sealing membrane to define a gap that permits axial movement of the self-sealing membrane to selectively open the bottle to fluid communication outside of the bottle.

A capless refueling mechanism includes a fill opening side shut-off valve disposed near the fill opening, and a fuel tank side shut-off valve disposed nearer to a fuel tank than the fill opening side shut-off valve. The refueling auxiliary device has a guide pipe section and a funnel section, and pressing of the fill opening side shut-off valve and the fuel tank side shut-off valve via an end of the guide pipe section causes a valve element to be moved away from a seat portion and insertion of a nozzle into the funnel section allows refueling. The outer circumferential surface of the guide pipe section is provided with an enlarged diameter section that regulates a valve opening degree of the valve element of the fuel tank side shut-off valve.

A funnel system for attachment to a fluid reservoir. The funnel is telescopically expandable and include an adaptor that provides for attachment to a variety of different fluid reservoir openings. A snap cap is also provided that seals the fluid path when the fluid is not in use. In one embodiment, the funnel system is attached to the fluid reservoir for a prolonged period of time and functions to replace the stock cap on the reservoir.
