SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF LIQUID EXTRACTION FROM EMPTY BARRELS
Embodiments described herein relate to systems and methods of extracting liquid from empty barrels. In one aspect, a method includes heating a barrel with less than about 10 ml of free liquid disposed therein to expand pores in the barrel. The method further includes applying, after the heating, a negative pressure to an interior of a vessel in which the barrel is disposed, such that an amount of liquid is extracted from the barrel. The method includes collecting, after the applying, the amount of liquid within a collection container. In some embodiments, collecting the amount of liquid includes pumping the liquid through a tube that is disposed between an outer surface of the barrel and the collection container. In some embodiments, heating the barrel is via a heated blanket wrapped around the barrel. In some embodiments, heating the barrel is via placing the barrel in an oven.
Method and device for filling a container with a filling product
Method and filling device for filling a container with a filling product, in a beverage filling system, wherein the method comprises: determining one or more changeable influence variables which influence a target variable of the filling process, a filling level and/or a filling volume; receiving the influence variables by means of a control apparatus; calculating at least one output variable from the received influence variables by means of a calculation model of the control apparatus; and filling the container as a function of the at least one output variable.

Container filling system and valve for same
A container filling valve may include a shuttle and a drive sleeve that are magnetically coupled. Movement of the drive sleeve may move the shuttle from a position in which the filling valve is closed to a position in which the filling valve is open. A container handling arm may include a distal end configured to hold a container and a proximal end that includes a load cell. A low flow setpoint system may be configured to arrest closing of a filling valve when that filling valve is partially closed. A pressure control system may be configured to maintain a desired pressure in a reservoir or in a flow path from that reservoir. A product recirculation system may be configured to adjust flow rate in the product recirculation system.

METHOD FOR FILLING BOTTLES WITH WINE
A method for filling a bottle (B) with wine (V) comprises in sequence the steps of injecting an inert gas (G)t into said bottle (B) to be filled allowing a subsequent outlet through the inlet mouth (I) of said bottle (B), hermetically closing said mouth (I) and putting under vacuum said bottle (B) through suction means connected to the distribution means (5,4); and performing the introduction in said bottle of said wine (V) until reaching a predetermined filling level through feeding means of said wine (V) connected to said distributor means (5,4); said injection steps of said inert gas (G) and introduction of the said wine (V) being realized through an inert gas flow (G) and respectively with the ascent of wine (V) towards said inlet mouth (I) from the bottom (F) of said bottle (B).

Quality control when filling a container with a filling product
A device for filling a container with a filling product (e.g., in a beverage filling system), includes: a product tank for providing the filling product, wherein a head space with a gas atmosphere is located above the filling product in the product tank; at least one filling member with a filling valve which is fluidically connected to the product tank for introducing the filling product from the product tank into the container to be filled and a gas channel for treating the container to be filled with a gas and/or for discharging gas from the container; a measuring apparatus for analyzing the gas atmosphere in the head space; and a control apparatus which is communicatively coupled to the measuring apparatus and which is designed to determine a process performance, (e.g., a quality of the filled filling product), from the analysis of the gas atmosphere in the head space.
