The system also includes an inlet coupled to the liquid circulation loop to enable liquid to enter the liquid circulation loop, a thermoelectric cooling assembly configured to lower a temperature of liquid in the liquid circulation loop, a carbonation assembly configured to add carbonation to the liquid in the liquid circulation loop, a pump configured to circulate liquid through the liquid circulation loop, and an outlet coupled to the liquid circulation loop to enable liquid to exit the liquid circulation loop.
System and method for rapid fluid chilling and heating for carbonated and non-carbonated fluids
An invention for rapid chilling or heating of both carbonated and non-carbonated fluids is disclosed. The invention is a fluid dispensing device that can rapidly cool or heat carbonated or non-carbonated liquid from room temperature to a desired temperature. The electric on-demand device allows pour-through and pump-through fluid dispensing and temperature control.
LIQUID DISPENSER APPARATUS
An apparatus for dispensing liquid comprising: a base structure having a liquid inlet configured to receive a liquid from a liquid source, a gas inlet configured to receive gas from a gas source, a dispensing outlet connected to a liquid dispensing unit, a storage connecting portion connected to a liquid storage, and a passage arrangement configured to put at least two of the liquid inlet, the gas inlet, the dispensing outlet and the storage connecting portion into fluid communication with each other. The apparatus further comprises a valve arrangement seated in the base structure and configured to control fluid passage of the liquid inlet, the gas inlet, the dispensing outlet, and/or the storage connecting portion. The apparatus further comprises a control unit having at least one signal input configured to be connected to a user interface, and at least one signal output configured to control the valve arrangement.
CARBONATED BEVERAGE DISPENSER
A dispenser for dispensing a carbonated beverage comprising soda and at least one additive, the carbonated beverage dispenser comprising a compensator, the compensator comprising: an outer body defining a compensator chamber, an inlet, and an outlet, an inner body arranged within the compensator chamber and between the inlet and the outlet, wherein a gap is defined between the inner body and the outer body for regulating the flow rate of soda passing between the inlet and the outlet, and a control element configured to receive a user input from a user and to control the size of the gap in dependence on said user input, wherein, for a given user input, the control element moves the inner body relative to the control element to a first extent and the outer body relative to the control element to a second extent, the first extent being non-equal to the second extent.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator having a carbonated water production device, according to one concept of the present invention, comprises: a pressure regulator for adjusting and emitting the pressure of carbon dioxide emitted from a carbon dioxide cylinder; a solenoid switch valve for controlling the supply of the carbon dioxide discharged from the pressure regulator to a carbonated water tank; a connection channel for connecting the pressure regulator and the solenoid switch valve; and a relief valve arranged in the connection channel so as to discharge the carbon dioxide of the connection channel to the atmosphere if the pressure of the carbon dioxide of the connection channel is greater than a predetermined pressure limit. Thus, the pressure of the carbon dioxide of the connection channel is capable of being maintained at a predetermined pressure limit or less, and solenoid malfunction can be prevented so as to improve reliability and stability of a system.
DRINK PRODUCING APPARATUS WITH SPECIFIC ARRANGEMENT OF A CONDITIONING CONTAINER IN A DISPENSING CONTAINER AS WELL AS HOUSEHOLD REFRIGERATION APPARATUS AND A METHOD
A drink producing apparatus includes a dispensing unit for dispensing liquid from the drink producing apparatus, a dispensing container, which is formed for receiving a liquid addable to a drink by the drink producing apparatus in a first liquid state, a conditioning container, in which the liquid can be conditioned into a second liquid state different from the first liquid state, wherein the conditioning container is arranged in the dispensing container at least in certain areas, the conditioning container comprises an outlet, which is formed for draining a liquid medium from the conditioning container, wherein the outlet is formed at a bottom of the conditioning container. The invention also relates to a household refrigeration apparatus and to a method.
Mixed Drink Producing Apparatus With An Overall Container With Multiple Chambers As Well As Household Refrigeration Apparatus With A Mixed Drink Producing Apparatus
A mixed drink producing apparatus for a household refrigeration apparatus with a first dispensing container, which is formed for receiving a first liquid having a first freezing point and addable to a mixed drink by the mixed drink producing apparatus and which is connected to a dispensing unit of the mixed drink producing apparatus for conducting the first liquid from the first dispensing container to the dispensing unit, and with at least one second dispensing container, which is formed for receiving a second liquid having a second freezing point different from the first freezing point and addable to a mixed drink by the mixed drink producing apparatus and which is connected to the dispensing unit of the mixed drink producing apparatus for conducting the second liquid from the second dispensing container to the dispensing unit, wherein the first dispensing container and the second dispensing container are formed as chambers in an overall container, and the chamber of the first dispensing container is separated from the chamber of the second dispensing container by at least one partition in the overall container. It can also be provided that a storage container is formed as a chamber in the overall container.
Drink Producing Apparatus With A Decompression Chamber Chargeable With Ambient Air, Household Refrigeration Apparatus As Well As Method For Producing A Drink
The invention relates to a drink producing apparatus with a dispensing container, which is formed for receiving a first liquid addable to a drink by the drink producing apparatus and which is connected to a dispensing unit of the drink producing apparatus for conducting the liquid from the dispensing container to the dispensing unit, wherein a decompression chamber is formed between the dispensing container and the dispensing unit, in which the carbonized liquid can be expanded to a pressure lower compared to a pressure present before introduction into the decompression chamber, and the drink producing apparatus has an air supply unit, by which ambient air can be conveyed into the decompression chamber for generating the pressure in the decompression chamber. The invention also relates to a household refrigeration apparatus and a method.
CARBONATED WATER METERING SYSTEM FOR BEVERAGE MACHINE
A programmable carbonated beverage preparation system and related method of use. The system includes a gas source containing carbon dioxide fluidly coupled to a carbonation chamber. The chamber holds an inventory of chilled water with its level controlled by a level sensor and pump fluidly coupled to a water source through a cold block in one embodiment. The chamber may be formed within the cold block which includes parallel coolant and chilled water passageways for chilling water from the water source. A regulator reduces gas pressure from the source which then partially fills the chamber. When a user selects a beverage size via the controller, the system dispenses carbonated water until a preprogrammed setpoint pressure ratio is reach which is indicative of a volume of carbonated water dispensed corresponding to the selected beverage size. Initial moles of gas in the chamber need not be known for performing the process.
