The beverage dispensing system further having a replaceable connection unit adapted to be connected with the dispense head and having a hollow piston member removably insertable into the bore of the housing and a dispensing line connected to the hollow piston member, whereby the hollow piston member is axially displaceable between a deactivated position and an activated position, and when in the activated position, the hollow piston member fluidly connects the extractor tube and the dispensing line to dispense beverage from the beverage container. The invention further relates to a connection unit for a beverage dispensing system, a dispense head for a beverage dispensing system, use of such dispense head as well as to a method for connecting and disconnecting the replaceable connection unit to a beverage container.
A REPLACEABLE COMPONENT FOR A BEVERAGE CONTAINER, A COMBINATION OF A REPLACEABLE COMPONENT FOR A BEVERAGE CONTAINER AND A BEVERAGE CONTAINER, AND A METHOD OF USING A REPLACEABLE COMPONENT FOR A BEVERAGE CONTAINER
A replaceable component for a beverage container to be attached to a beverage extraction pipe of the beverage container is provided. The replaceable component for a beverage container includes a tubular member slidable along a longitudinal direction of the beverage extraction pipe and capable of coming in annular contact with an outer circumferential surface of the beverage extraction pipe, and a bag, which is attached to the tubular member, for containing a beverage.
System and method for distribution and dispensing of beverages
A method for the distribution and dispensing of beverages utilizes a one-way system including a disposable and freestanding container. The container is blow-molded in one piece from a preform of plastics. The system also includes a tube to be inserted in the container and a closure cap. The container can be filled, distributed to an end user and connected to standard beverage dispensing structure. After use, the empty container is collapsed and discarded.
Closing valve and container comprising the same
A closing valve for a container for a fluid includes an outer jacket connected or connectable to an opening in the container or forming part of the container. An inner jacket is accommodated inside the outer jacket and has an opening through which the fluid can be fed to or withdrawn from the container. A closing element is positioned inside the inner jacket or between the inner jacket and the outer jacket and movable between at least a first position closing the opening and a second position clearing the opening, wherein at least the closing element is made from a polymer material. The closing element comprises a sealing member and a spring, which urges the closing element into the first position.
BAG-IN-KEG CONTAINER WITH FIXED PRESSURE PRV
A bag-in-keg container for a carbonated beverage has a container body C, a flexible bag B within the container body, and a valve closure V attached to the container body. The valve closure includes a gas inlet port (11), a liquid dispensing port (12), and spring-loaded valve member (6) to sealably close the gas inlet and liquid dispensing ports. An adapter (20) sealingly attached to the flexible bag B incorporates a bag PRV (26) to vent gas pressure from within the flexible bag. A container PRV (40) vents gas pressure from between the container body C and the flexible bag B. The bag PRV has a valve shuttle with one side exposed to gas pressure within the flexible bag B and an opposite side exposed to gas pressure within a sealed plenum chamber (37). The bag PRV therefore operates at a fixed pressure independent of the differential pressure between the bag and the outer container. This solves the problem of venting excess pressure within the keg whilst still allowing the dispensing gas to achieve the equilibrium
A DISPENSE HEAD AND BEVERAGE DISPENSING SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a dispense head to be mounted on a beverage container having an extractor tube with a valve, the beverage container or the extractor tube having a radially extending flange, enabling a beverage present in the beverage container to be dispensed via a dispensing line, the dispense head having an axial extension and comprising an outer shell comprising a first aperture configured to receive at least the dispensing line and/or a gas inlet, the outer shell being movable along the axial extension between a first position and a second position, a stationary inner part arranged inside the outer shell, a first face of the stationary inner part is configured to abut the flange and be axially stationary in relation to the flange, the stationary inner part having a first end and a second end facing the beverage container, the stationary inner part having a wall part at the second end, a valve activation part at least partly extending inside the stationary inner part and movable in the axial extension in relation the stationary inner part for activation of the valve, and a handle pivoting around a pivot point in the first end of the stationary inner part for moving between a deactivated position and an activated position for moving the valve activation part in order to activate the valve, wherein the dispense head further comprises a locking unit arranged at the second end of the stationary inner part, the locking unit being arranged at a distance from the first face and configured to be radially displaced during the movement of the outer shell from the first position to the second position thereby enabling locking of the flange along the axial extension, and a fixation unit configured to fixate the outer shell in relation to the stationary inner part at least in the second position of the outer shell.
Tap head having a 3/2-way valve
The disclosure relates to a tap head for connecting to a keg for a bar system, the tap head having a tap head body, and a pressurization-gas supply line and a beverage removal line being formed in the tap head body, such that a 3/2-way valve is formed directly on or in the tap head body in the pressurization-gas supply line, which 3/2-way valve connects either the pressurization-gas supply line from a gas source to the interior of the keg or connects, in a gas-conducting manner, the interior of the keg to the environment.
BAG-IN-KEG CONTAINER WITH VALVE SEALING LIP
A bag-in-keg container has a container body C, a flexible bag B within the container body, and a valve closure V attached to the container body. The valve closure includes a gas inlet port (11), a liquid dispensing port (12), and a spring-loaded valve member (6) to sealably close the gas inlet and liquid dispensing ports. An adapter (20) sealingly attached to the flexible bag B incorporates a bag PRV (26) to vent gas pressure from within the flexible bag. A container PRV (40) in the form of a flexible lip seal is operably associated with the valve member (6) to vent gas pressure from between the container body C and the flexible bag B. The lip seal is opened by a small positive pressure difference between inside and outside, but when the valve member (6) is opened to dispense liquid from the bag B the container PRV (40) is inoperative, allowing a relatively high internal gas pressure to be achieved when dispensing.
