Methods And Systems For Secure, Metered Beverage Dispensing
20230126019 · 2023-04-27 ·

Methods and systems for accurately and securely dispensing high value beverages are presented herein. A beverage distribution system includes one or more replaceable beverage cartridges mounted to a beverage dispensing device. Each of the beverage cartridges includes a fluid reservoir with an output port, an output control valve, a flowmeter, and a local controller. The local controller receives signals from the flow meter and determines a cumulative amount of beverage fluid dispensed from the beverage cartridge based on the received signals. In one embodiment, the beverage dispensing device includes a fluid pump and a master controller. The master controller also estimates the cumulative amount of beverage fluid dispensed from each beverage cartridge based on control commands communicated to each beverage cartridge. If a difference between the estimated cumulative amounts of fluid dispensed from a beverage cartridge exceeds a predetermined threshold value, an alert is generated.

DISPENSING PLANT WITH AUTO-CALIBRATION AND AUTO-CALIBRATION METHOD THEREOF

A plant for dispensing a beverage of one or more fluids ingredients into a container, including one or more dispensing lines to dispense the fluid ingredients, a nozzle, fluid-dynamically connected to the dispensing lines for dispensing the beverage into the container, a control unit to associate values with the flow rate of fluid in the dispensing lines, the plant further including at least one calibration unit connected to the control unit for measuring a value associated with the quantity of fluids dispensed into the container and adjust the values associated with the flow rate of the fluid in each of the dispensing lines, so the difference between the measurement of the values associated with the quantity of fluids delivered in the container and the quantity of fluid associated with the flow rate of fluid in the dispensing lines is less than a threshold or in a confidence interval.

INFRARED BASED BLENDING CONTROL
20170334702 · 2017-11-23 ·

An apparatus for producing a blended alcoholic beverage includes a blender having first and second conduits for carrying respective first and second beverage ingredients, and corresponding flow-control valves for each conduit. These first and second conduits connect to a third conduit to form a blended stream that comprises the first ingredient and the second ingredient. An infrared sensor measures infrared absorption in the blended stream and provides a first signal to a controller that controls the flow-control valves based at least in part on the first signal.

FLUID PRESSURIZATION AND DISPENSING SYSTEM
20170240405 · 2017-08-24 ·

A fluid pressurization and dispensing system, including a coupler releasably attached to a vessel via an attachment means for securing a vacuum seal between the coupler and the vessel for maintaining pressure within the vessel, refreshing the gas composition within the vessel, and dispensing of a fluid contents externally from within the vessel without disturbing the vacuum seal. The coupler has a rigid single body unit having a tap head, a shank, and a cap which are contiguous thereof the coupler including a plurality of channels each integrally machined within an interior portion of the coupler. The system regulates a flow of gas from a pressurized gas cartridge via a gas pressure regulator, enables venting excess gas via a gas pressure relief valve, enables measurement of gas pressure within the vessel via a gas pressure gauge. Another embodiment of the system includes a coupler including a bi-level tap head.

Manual Water Bottle Connection System for Bottom Load Water Coolers
20170233236 · 2017-08-17 ·

A system which allows easy manual connection of the water bottle of a water cooler, with its bottle placed in an upright position at the bottom of the cooler (bottom load water cooler), to the remaining water system of the said water cooler and the related bottom load water cooler system. With the said system, connecting or disconnecting the water bottle of such water cooler system is a task as simple as manually turning a rotational handle clockwise or counter clockwise. This allows replacing the water bottle of such water cooler without touching any of its water pipes, which not only simplifies the process, but more importantly also eliminates chance of contamination of the drinking water system during the process. The system further utilizes a universal water bottle sealing cap with air filters to suppress bacteria growth in the drinking water bottle due to intake of polluted air. A reversible pressing system allows automatically adjustment for water bottles of different height and allows using the same type of water bottle as those used on conventional water cooler with its water bottle sitting on top of it in an inverted position (top load water cooler). All these features make it simpler and safer to enjoy the benefit brought by the bottom load water cooler system and bring the hygiene standard of such system to a higher level.

Liquid quality control device

A liquid quality management device capable of being added to a liquid supply system which can supply a liquid within a storage container to a dispensing device in order to cool the liquid, and can dispense the liquid to a drinking container. The liquid quality management device includes an actual flow rate preparation unit including a flow rate sensor for determining an actual measured flow rate of the liquid; a dispensing liquid temperature sensor for measuring a temperature of the liquid dispensed into the drinking container; and a determination unit electrically connected to the actual flow rate preparation unit and the dispensing liquid temperature sensor, for determining an integrated flow rate of the liquid when the liquid temperature is equal to or higher than a set temperature, and for determining whether or not coolability of the dispensing device is suitable by comparing the integrated flow rate with a determination value.

Modular beverage dispenser and methods of use
