A self-service wine tasting system includes automatic wine dispensers, a cloud server and user terminals. The automatic wine dispenser includes wine dispensing stations, a machine identity and a first telecommunication module. The first telecommunication module is connected to a control chip of the automatic wine dispenser. The cloud server includes a storage and a second telecommunication module. The second telecommunication module is in communication connection with the first telecommunication module. The storage stores wine storage information associated with the machine code of each automatic wine dispenser. The user terminal includes an identification device and a third telecommunication module. The third telecommunication module is in communication connection with the second telecommunication module. The self-service wine tasting system facilitates the wine taster to record the tasting behavior.

PROCESS OF MANUFACTURING A PACKAGED LIQUID BEER CONCENTRATE

The present invention relates to a process of manufacturing a packaged liquid beer concentrate, said process comprising: providing an alcoholic beer comprising 3-12% ABV ethanol; removing at least a part of the ethanol from the alcoholic beer by means of distillation, thereby producing (i) a low alcohol beer having an ethanol content of 0-1.5% ABV alcohol and (ii) an alcoholic liquid containing at least 10% ABV ethanol; removing at least 70 wt. % of the water present in the low alcohol beer by means of membrane separation and/or freeze concentration to produce a liquid beer concentrate; if the alcoholic liquid contains less than 20% ABV ethanol, concentrating the alcoholic liquid to an ethanol content of at least 30% ABV by means of distillation, reverse osmosis or forwards osmosis; separately packaging the liquid beer concentrate and the alcoholic liquid within a single container or within separate containers that together form a kit of parts.

The present process offers the advantage that it can utilise de-alcoholisation units that are commonly used in the production of low alcohol beer, thus minimising capital investment. The low alcohol beer that is obtained by the dealcoholisation step can be concentrated in a single step to produce the liquid beer concentrate.

Dosing accuracy

Flow control assemblies are provided. The flow control assemblies include a cap having a flow control system with an inlet port having an inlet valve and an outlet port having an outlet valve, wherein the flow control system achieves a Dosing Accuracy (DA) of about 100 or less according to the following formula: DA = [ ( Po - Pc ) ( Vd - Ls ) ]
where, Po is a pressure to open the outlet valve (mmH.sub.2O), Pc is a pressure to close the outlet valve (mmH.sub.2O), Vd is a diameter of the outlet valve (mm), and Ls is a length of the valve opening (mm).

CUSTOM BEVERAGE CREATION DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD

A system for dispensing fluid is provided in which a first fluid cartridge and a second fluid cartridge each comprise a first spout at corresponding fluid outlets, and wherein a docking location is provided for docking each of the fluid cartridges such that the first spout is adjacent the second spout. The system may further comprise a drop sensor for detecting a number of drops dispensed from the fluid cartridges at a drop detection location. The docking location may define a specific orientation for any cartridge docked at the docking location, and the cartridges may be wedge shaped and may each taper towards their corresponding spouts. Also provided is a fluid cartridge comprising a cartridge housing, a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet above a fluid fill level, and a syphon for transporting fluid from inside the cartridge to the fluid outlet.

Tube for a withdrawal system and method for withdrawing a fluid from a container via a withdrawal system

A removal system (1) with an interface 5a for releasable connection to an extraction head (2) of the removal system (1), such that the tube (5) can be used as a single-use part for removing fluid from a container.

Systems and methods for dispensing chilled wine using a dispensing appliance. The appliance generally comprises a housing or enclosure protecting internal components and providing a chilled chamber for wine storage and an unchilled chamber for electric and other components. An airtight wine “silo” containing a packaged wine is insertable into a cradle in the chilled chamber for attaching to a fluid connector system. The user operates a handle to control wine flow. Identifiers on the silo may be read and transmitted to a server, where learning algorithms can suggest alternative wines the user may like based on user feedback about prior wines used with the appliance.

Among other things, there is shown an embodiment of a dispensing apparatus for use with pressurized containers of fluids, particularly carbonated beverages such as beer. A base that fits onto the container has a piston member slidably fitted to it, along with a compressed gas housing and a pickup tube or assembly. A handle moves the piston member with respect to the base against a spring bias. A gas flow path from the housing to the container passes through a valve, that is opened by the piston member as the handle is moved. Moving the handle opens both a liquid flow path as well as a gas flow path.
