Retaining apparatus, fuel tank filling installation having the same, and method for retaining a foreign fluid from a fluid
The invention relates to a retaining apparatus (1) having a filter element (3) in a fluid line (2) which can be flowed through in a flow direction (V) by a fluid (F) comprising a foreign fluid (X), having a volume flow control apparatus (5) by way of which the volume flow (S) through the fluid line (2) can be controlled, having a sensor device (6) by way of which the fraction of foreign fluid (X) in the fluid (F) can be determined, and having a control device (7) by way of which the volume flow (S) can be controlled by way of the volume flow control apparatus (5) in a manner dependent on the fraction of foreign fluid (X) in the fluid (F) as determined by way of the sensor device (6). The invention furthermore relates to a fuel tank filling installation having said retaining apparatus, and to a method for retaining foreign fluid from a fluid.
Method and apparatus for limiting acidic corrosion and contamination in fuel delivery systems
A method and apparatus are provided for controlling a fuel delivery system to limit acidic corrosion. An exemplary control system includes a controller, at least one monitor, an output, and a remediation system. The monitor of the control system may collect and analyze data indicative of a corrosive environment in the fuel delivery system. The output of the control system may automatically warn an operator of the fueling station of the corrosive environment so that the operator can take preventative or corrective action. The remediation system of the control system may take at least one corrective action to remediate the corrosive environment in the fuel delivery system.

Device and methods for refuelling an aircraft
A device for refueling an aircraft, including a fuel flow duct, the downstream end of which is equipped with a wing coupler for connecting it to an inlet orifice of a fuel tank of the aircraft. The wing coupler includes a body, and a front valve that is movable with respect to the body. The wing coupler includes at least one detection member for detecting the position of the front valve, and an electrical or electronic transmission system for transmitting to a processing unit a signal representing the position of the front valve as detected by the at least one detection member.
Service device for a pressure vessel system
A service device for a pressure vessel system of a motor vehicle includes a service-device-side refueling coupling part which is connectable to a motor-vehicle-side refueling coupling part of the motor vehicle and a controller for activating the pressure vessel system. A method for the service of the pressure vessel system includes producing a connection between the service device and the pressure vessel system and activating the pressure vessel system by the service device.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MONITORING FLUID OR MATERIAL TRANSFER INTO A RECEIVING TANK OR RECEPTACLE
An apparatus, including a monitor system including a microphone, first power supply; and transmitter which transmits a first sound indicative of a normal flow of a fluid into a tank and a second sound indicative of a need to cease the flow of the fluid; an attachment device, wherein the monitor system or microphone is attached to the attachment device, and the attachment device is attached to, or attached to an object in a vicinity of, a ventilation pipe; and a receiver system which is headset, earpiece, wearable device, or handheld device, which includes a housing; receiver which receives the first sound or second sound; second power supply; and speaker. The speaker outputs the first audio output indicative of the normal flow of the fluid into the tank and outputs the second audible sound indicative of the need to cease the flow of the fluid.
