The separation unit may selectively receive at least a portion of market fuel and convert it into an octane-rich fuel component and a cetane-rich fuel component that may be subsequently dispensed to a vehicle being fueled, where a fuel grade selection and retail payment of a fuel containing the octane-rich or cetane-rich fuel components is provided to the vehicle based on user input at the customer interface.

In one embodiment, a kit of parts is provided that includes a plurality of hose connection parts selectable from, first hose connection parts including one fluid inlet and one fluid outlet, second hose connection parts including two fluid inlets and one fluid outlet, and third hose connection parts including three fluid inlets and one fluid outlet, which kit of parts is suitable for assembly of a hose connection having at least a first and second fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, according to any one of three configurations.

Fuel Dispenser Blending Hose

Fuel hoses are provided herein to deliver a blend of fuels. For example, a fuel hose is provided that includes an upper hose portion with a first channel for delivering a first fuel and a second channel for delivering a second fuel. A lower hose portion with a third channel extending therethrough couples to a nozzle. The lower hose can couple to the upper hose portion at a joint that receives the first and second fuels. The first and second fuels can mix at the joint to form a blended fuel that is delivered through the lower hose portion to the nozzle.

The disclosure relates to methods for distributing alcohol-containing gasoline. The methods herein facilitate the combination of gasoline blendstocks and alcohols to create finished gasoline products.
