Pressurized Beverage Concentrates and Appliances and Methods for Producing Beverages Therefrom
The present invention describes methods and devices in which concentrated beverage products, each packaged in a pressurized container, can be combined with liquids and/or other ingredients to produce one or more servings of a beverage. These products provide users with a convenient way to prepare both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (including carbonated beverages) in various serving sizes and quantities by combining the pressurized beverage concentrate with (possibly carbonated) liquids and other ingredients.
Beverage dispensing systems
The present application provides a beverage dispensing system for combining a number of ingredients. The beverage dispensing system may include an ingredient pouch, an ingredient storage tank, a pump, a nozzle, an inlet diverter valve upstream of the pump, and an outlet diverter valve downstream of the pump.
Dispense sequence for a beverage mixture dispensing system
Dispensing sequences for beverage mixture dispensing systems are disclosed. A disclosed method for operating a beverage mixture dispensing system includes flowing a first solvent from a first reservoir to a mixing area of the beverage mixture dispensing system, dispensing concentrated ingredients into the mixing area to combine the first solvent from the first reservoir with the concentrated ingredients to form an intermediate mixture, flowing the intermediate mixture to a mixing chamber of the beverage mixture dispensing system, flowing a sweetening liquid from a second reservoir to the mixing chamber, without flowing the sweetening liquid through the mixing area, to combine the sweetening liquid from the second reservoir with the intermediate mixture to form a beverage, and dispensing the beverage from the mixing chamber. A disclosed device is configured to execute this method. A disclosed computer-readable medium includes instructions for a device to execute this method.
Beverage dispensing systems with remote micro-ingredient storage systems
The present application thus provides a beverage dispensing system for combining a micro-ingredient and a diluent. The beverage dispensing system may include a nozzle and a remote micro-ingredient storage system positioned at a distance from the nozzle. The remote micro-ingredient storage system may include a stirring reservoir in communication with the nozzle to agitate the micro-ingredient therein.
Beverage dispensers for dispensing mixed beverages with one or more gases injected therein
A beverage dispensing machine for dispensing a mixed beverage has a first inlet configured to receive a concentrate; a second inlet configured to receive a base fluid; a gas inlet configured to receive a gas; a gas injection device configured to pulsate the gas into the concentrate such that the gas agitates the concentrate and is injected into the concentrate to form a gas-injected concentrate; and a dispensing valve configured to dispense the base fluid and the gas-injected concentrate.
BEVERAGE DISPENSER FLUID LEVEL SENSOR
A system includes a sensor and a computing system. The sensor is coupled to a syrup line of the beverage dispenser and is configured to measure a pressure within the line. The syrup line is coupled at a first end to a syrup bag and at a second end to a pump configured to pump syrup from the syrup bag to an outlet of the beverage dispenser. The pump is operated using pressurized gas and generates a pressure corresponding to the pressure of the gas within the syrup line when both the syrup bag is full and the outlet of the beverage dispenser is closed. The sensor transmits a measured pressure to the computing system. The computing system determines that the measured pressure is less than a threshold pressure. In response, the processor transmits an alert for display on a user device, which identifies the syrup bag for replacement.
BEVERAGE PREPARATION DEVICE WITH COOLED ADDITIVE CONTAINERS
The present invention relates to a beverage preparation device (1) comprising a beverage preparation section (2) for preparing and dispensing a beverage product, a water supply (4) for supplying water to the beverage preparation section (2) for beverage preparation, and an additive supply (6) for supplying beverage additives to the beverage preparation section (2) to be mixed with water from the water supply (4) for beverage preparation. The additive supply (6) comprises a storage section (10) for housing and storing containers (12) respectively carrying a beverage additive. The additive supply (6) comprises a cooling device (16) for cooling the containers (12) stored in the storage section (10).
BEVERAGE MAKING APPARATUS
A beverage-making apparatus includes a fermentation tank assembly including a fermentation tank having an opening formed therein and a fermentation tank cover configured to open and close the opening. The beverage-making apparatus also includes a refrigeration cycle apparatus including a compressor, a condenser, an expansion device, and an evaporator. The refrigeration cycle apparatus is configured to circulate a refrigerant therethrough and to control a temperature of the fermentation tank as the evaporator is disposed at the fermentation tank. The beverage-making apparatus further includes a heat insulating wall surrounding both the fermentation tank and the evaporator.
Additive dispensing system for a refrigerator
An additive dispensing system for a refrigerator that includes a reservoir configured to contain an additive and an additive outlet in fluid communication with the reservoir. The additive dispensing system is configured to be connected to a refrigerator and is operable to selectively dispense an amount of additive to water dispensed from the refrigerator. The additive dispensing system may be connected to a water filtration system of the refrigerator such that the additive dispensing system may dispense the amount of additive into filtered water dispensed from the refrigerator.
Beverage dispensing apparatus and method
A beverage dispensing apparatus with a dispenser compartment, a flexible concentrate bag with a first opening through which a beverage concentrate is introduced at a production site and optionally a second opening at the top of the bag. The second opening is used at the dispensing location to introduce a diluent into the bag. A low acid beverage concentrate is contained in the bag. A beverage homogenizing agitator subassembly is situated inside the dispenser compartment. A beverage dispensing subassembly includes a sealed fitting located at the bottom region of the bag and a tube extending therefrom. The beverage dispensing apparatus reduces shipping and maintenance costs due to shipping concentrate rather than a finished beverage while enhancing sanitation.
