Consumables monitoring system
A consumables monitoring system is in communication with computing means and has a dispenser assembly formed of a dispenser and a mounting unit. The mounting unit and dispenser are arranged such that a plurality of sensors in the mounting unit is able to measure the quantity of consumables in the dispenser, and the dispenser assembly communicates sensor data to the computing means, which thereby monitor the usage of the dispenser. The plurality of sensors have different sensitivities over a range of inputs, wherein system is configured to switch between the sensors depending on the value of the inputs detected. The fact that the mounting unit may engage multiple different types of otherwise stand-alone dispensers provides for a monitoring system that can be used in conjunction with any type of dispenser and consumable. The plurality of dispensers allows for optimum sensitivity across a broad range of dispenser fill levels.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD OF PROVIDING A CONTENT LEVEL MONITOR
An apparatus, system and method for providing a consumable level monitor for association with a content-filled consumable. The embodiments may include a sensing module suitable to sense the consumable level; and a communications module suitable for receiving the consumable level from the sensing module, and for communicating the consumable level to a user.
Cloud-connected smart sensing and measurement method for resource dispensers
Methods and systems for providing a resource dispenser status for a resource dispenser associated with a facility. One system includes an electronic processor. The electronic processor is configured to receive a set of signals. The electronic processor is also configured to compare a first signal included in the set of signals to a set of thresholds. The electronic processor is also configured to determine a resource dispenser status based on the comparison of the first signal to the set of thresholds. The electronic processor is also configured to generate and transmit the resource dispenser status to a remote device, wherein the remote device provides the resource dispenser status to a user.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCT INVENTORY CONTROL AND PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION
A chemical product consumption monitoring device using force sensors integrated into a sealed sensor housing for retrofit installation on liquid or solid product chemical feeding systems used in water treatment. The sensor design is flexible and can be used with products having different form factors such as discs, bottles, pellets, or pails. The sensor is used to monitor the product consumption rate based on weight or percentage for inventory management by forecasting replenishment scheduling and provide a process for automatic ordering. By combining the product consumption measurement with other sensor data from the dispenser, chemical delivery system, or process, allows tracking dispenser performance and alarming if malfunctioning. Additionally, using data from different sources provides remote visibility for scheduling maintenance and troubleshooting.
System for advance notification of replacing water bottle based on historical consumption data and a water dispenser thereof
A system for advance notification of replacing or ordering a water bottle based on historical consumption data, and a water dispenser. The system includes a server, a water dispenser, a weight sensor, and a user device. The weight sensor measures weights of a replaceable water bottle on the water dispenser at different times and transmits the weights back to the server, so as to make multiple determinations with respect to the weights and accordingly obtain the consumption of the replaceable water bottle over time, thereby reminding a user to replace the replaceable water bottle and to make a new order.
Water prefilling assembly for use in a refrigerating appliance
A fluid delivery system for an appliance includes a fluid line in selective communication with a fluid source. A shelf defines a fill zone positioned below an underside of the shelf. A shelf spigot is coupled with the fluid line and disposed proximate the underside of the shelf and over the fill zone. A fluid level sensor is positioned in communication with the fill zone. The fluid level sensor is also in communication with a controller that regulates a flow of fluid through the shelf spigot.
DISPENSING SYSTEM WITH LIQUID LEVEL SENSING AND LEVEL-BASED ACTIONS
A dispensing system includes a container, a holder, and a signal processing module. The container includes a body configured to store a liquid and a conductive strip coupled to an outer surface of the body. The holder is configured to receive the container. The holder includes an electrical contact configured to contact the conductive strip when the container is received in the holder. The signal processing module is in electrical communication with the electrical contact. The signal processing module is configured to receive signals from the electrical contact to determine a level of liquid within the container body based on the signals when the container is received in the holder.
Liquid dispenser with proximity and positioning system
A liquid dispenser is provided that includes a housing configured to dispense liquid into a container, the housing having an outlet for dispensing liquid into the container. The liquid dispenser includes a proximity sensor disposed proximate to the outlet and configured to detect the container when the container is disposed proximate to the outlet; a light source disposed proximate to the outlet and configured to emit a beam of light to identify a location of liquid to be dispensed from the outlet; and a processor configured to determine whether the container is disposed proximate to the outlet based on an output signal from the proximity sensor; and illuminate the light source to project the beam of light towards an opening of the container based on the output signal from the proximity sensor, to inform a user of a location of liquid to be dispensed from the housing.
Base station and advertising packets of sensors detecting content level
A network connection is established with a server. A broadcasted advertising packet of a wireless communication protocol is received from a remote device. The remote device repeatedly broadcasts content of the advertising packet based at least in part a total number of remote devices specified to broadcast to the system. Payload content from the advertising packet is extracted. At least a portion of the extracted payload content is sent via the network connection to the server.
