Systems and methods for product system of an agricultural applicator
A product system for an agricultural sprayer includes a product tank configured to store a volume of an agricultural product. A fill station is configured to accept the agricultural product from an off-board source. A flow assembly is fluidly coupled with the fill station and is configured to direct the agricultural product into a product tank from the conduit. A reclaim system is configured to provide the agricultural product within the flow assembly to the product tank. A computing system is communicatively coupled to the reclaim system. The computing system is configured to receive inputs indicative of activation of a fill mode, detect termination of the fill mode, and activate a reclaim mode to move the agricultural product from at least the conduit to the product tank through activation of the reclaim system.
Control of a filling process
A method for controlling a filling process, wherein a predetermined filling quantity of a medium is filled into a container, the flow rate of the medium flowing into the container is measured as a time series of measured values for the instantaneous flow rate and a filling quantity already filled is estimated from the time series, wherein at least one current measured value of the time series is corrected on the basis of at least one earlier measured value of an earlier time series of measured values of the flow rate of an earlier filling process.
Method for Autonomous Fueling of Multiple Fuel Tanks
Method for autonomously fueling machinery operating at fracking sites. A fuel tank with a plurality of fuel lines individually coupled to a fuel tank are used. Pumps are connected to some of the fuel lines. Pump outputs are coupled to hoses extending to machinery tanks to be refueled. A cap is detachably connected to the hoses and machinery tanks to be fueled. The fuel tank includes an intake filter capable of blocking approximately 10 micron contaminants with about 250 gallon per minute flow rate. The methodology of the present invention includes measuring the duration of machinery tank fuelings and the interval between fuelings. A first alarm is generated if the duration of fuelings is longer than a first interval. A second alarm is generated if the interval between fuelings is longer than a second interval.
Detecting the deactivation of a filling device
A method for determining a filling stop during a filling process of an operating fluid container whose operating fluid container interior can be filled with an operating fluid via a filling pipe opening into said interior, wherein a pressure sensor for determining a pressure within the filling pipe is arranged in the filling pipe, wherein the method has the following method steps: acquiring the time profile of pressure values acquired by means of the pressure sensor; and outputting a filling stop signal in accordance with the time profile of the pressure values. In addition, the present invention discloses an operating fluid container system having an operating fluid container and a filling pipe, opening into an operating fluid container interior, for filling the operating fluid container with an operating fluid, wherein the operating fluid container system has a pressure sensor arranged within the filling pipe and is coupled via a data line to an electronic control device for transmitting data, representing the pressure within the filling pipe, to the electronic control device, wherein the control device is designed to carry out the method according to the invention for determining a filling stop.
Pressure relief shipping adapter for a bottle head assembly
In one embodiment, systems and methods include using a pressure relief shipping adapter to reduce the internal pressure of a container. A pressure relief shipping adapter comprises a body comprising a first portion and a second portion. The first portion comprises a first bore and a set of protrusions. The second portion comprises a second bore, wherein the second bore comprises a radial gap, wherein the radial gap comprises a uniform arc length along the length of the radial gap. A first end and a second end of the radial gap comprise a greater arc length than the radial gap. A pressure relief shipping adapter further comprises a pressure relief valve disposed at a first end of the first bore and an interlocking component comprising a first tab and a second tab, wherein the interlocking component is at least partially contained within the second bore.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FUEL MONITORING AND SPILL PREVENTION
A system, methods, and apparatus for preventing receptacle overfilling are presented. The system can include a sensor member configured to couple with a receptacle and sense a material level within the receptacle, such as via a sight glass of the receptacle. The system can include a controller in operable communication with the sensor member and configured to instantiate the shutoff of material flow from a material dispensing system if a particular material level is detected by the sensor member. The system can include an intermediate member configured to relay communications between the sensor member and the controller. The intermediate member can be coupled to a fluid line and can further act as a holster for the sensor member, such as by facilitating the coupling of the sensor member to the intermediate member and/or the fluid line.
System and method for delivering fuel
A system for delivering fuel to an equipment fuel tank. The system includes a remote fuel storage tank and a valve assembly coupleable to the equipment fuel tank. The system includes a fuel supply line extending between the remote fuel storage tank and the valve assembly and a pneumatic valve disposed in the fuel supply line. The pneumatic valve can prevent flow of fuel into the fuel supply line or can enable flow of fuel into the fuel supply line. The valve assembly includes pressure tubes to detect changes in fuel level inside the equipment fuel tank. A switch actuates the pneumatic valve to prevent the flow of fluid in response to an overfilled position; and actuates the pneumatic valve to enable the flow of fluid in response to an underfilled position.
Portable Overflow Prevention Dispensing Container
An overflow prevention dispensing container comprising a portable container having at least one handle means, a nozzle, at least one air vent, at least one liquid fill aperture, and fill aperture cover; a dispensing handle having a valve mechanism; and at least one release; an automatic shutoff sensing means for sensing the level of fluid in a receiving tank and stopping the flow of liquid into the receiving tank when it is full, whereby the container is placed in a position to dispense liquid to the receiving tank, the operator activates the dispensing handle allowing liquid to freely flow into the receiving tank until the apparatus senses the level of the liquid in the receiving tank to be desired level at which time the flow will automatically be stopped.
Method and system for controlling a filling operation of a vehicular liquid storage system
A method for controlling a filling operation of a vehicular liquid storage system including a tank equipped with a filler pipe and a shut-off valve, the method including detecting the start of a refilling event; while the shut-off valve is open, observing whether a measured fill level of the tank has reached a predetermined fill level; if the predetermined fill level has been reached, performing the following steps: closing the shut-off valve to induce a shut-off of a filling nozzle; when a first pressure criterion is met, opening the shut-off valve; and when a second pressure criterion is met, closing the shut-off valve. The second pressure criterion includes a decrease of pressure inside the tank below a predetermined pressure level.
PILOT CONTROLLED REFILL TANKS FOR FIREFIGHTING AIRCRAFT
A system for filling a tank for a firefighting helicopter with water without ground personnel, comprising a pilot controlled valve assembly to selectively permit water to flow into the refill tank upon the receipt of a communication transmitted by a communication device within the helicopter. The pilot controlled valve assembly can include a supply valve configured to move between at least a closed state and an open state, a controller configured to control the supply valve, and a receiver configured to send a signal to a controller to cause the controller to at least open the supply valve upon receipt by the receiver of a communication meeting one or more predetermined criteria. The water tank can be filled from a water source, including a municipal water source, when the supply valve is open to provide a more efficient, semi-autonomous refill tank system greatly improves costly and time-consuming manually refill systems.
